NZ vs WI Betting Tips
Alick Athanaze to score Over 18.5 runs
Alick Athanaze is the West Indies’ leading run-scorer in this series and has an average of over 25, and has scored at least 19 runs in each of his last 3 innings. We are therefore backing him to play a good knock here.
Highest opening partnership - New Zealand
Tim Robinson and Devon Conway have been a consistent opening pair for New Zealand. On the other hand, the West Indies has struggled to find the perfect combination at the top of the order. We are therefore expecting a better start for the home team.

NZ vs WI Team Previews
New Zealand
With the latest match of the series getting washed out, the Black Caps have an unassailable lead in this series. Nevertheless, they are unlikely to let their guard down and look to keep the winning momentum going.
The hosts are likely to continue with the same playing XI that featured in the previous match. Tim Robinson has done a decent job at the top of the order and will look to give the team a brisk start alongside Devon Conway.
With Mark Chapman fully fit and available to play, the middle order looks solid as he joins Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell. Rachin Ravindra hasn’t been in his best form with the bat, and the team will want him to score some runs as we head to the ODIs.
The three all-rounders, James Neesham, Michael Bracewell, and Mitchell Santner, add depth to the batting. Jacob Duffy has been brilliant with the new ball, but he will ask for better support from Kyle Jamieson at the other end, as the latter has been a bit expensive.
Ish Sodhi continues to be the team’s best slower bowler.
New Zealand Expected Playing 11
Tim Robinson, Devon Conway (WK), Rachin Ravindra, Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, Michael Bracewell, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner (C), Ish Sodhi, Kyle Jamieson, Jacob Duffy

West Indies
After suffering consecutive losses, the West Indies will be desperate for a win here, not only to save the series but also to build some momentum as it heads to the ODIs.
Alick Athanaze and Amir Jangoo continue to open the batting for the team. Athanaze has got some good starts in this series, but has yet to play a big knock or score a half-century. Shai Hope is another dependable player who can win the match for his team.
However, the other in the middle order, including Ackeem Auguste, Roston Chase, and Jason Holder, haven’t been in the best of form with the bat. The visitors’ biggest strength is the availability of all-rounders like Sherfane Rutherford and Romario Shepherd, who are excellent with the bat and the ball.
Bowling is another area where the team needs to improve. Jayden Seales, Akeal Hosein, and Shamar Joseph have all been expensive and need to bowl a better line and length. Roston Chase is the team’s best bowler with 5 wickets.
West Indies Expected Playing 11
Alick Athanaze, Amir Jangoo, Shai Hope (C & WK), Ackeem Auguste, Roston Chase, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Shamar Springer, Matthew Forde , Jason Holder
NZ vs WI Toss Prediction
The team winning the toss has opted to field first in all four games played here, and we expect that trend to continue.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
The pitch at the University Oval is usually good to bat on and has an average first-inning score of around 180. The surface is flat and hard, offering true pace and excellent bounce. While the new ball does move around a bit, playing shots is easy once the batsmen settle down.
Since the weather is likely to remain overcast, the new ball might swing a bit, and bowling first could be beneficial. We also expect some showers in the afternoon.
NZ vs WI: Who Will Win?
We are backing New Zealand to win this match. They have a strong playing XI with a balanced bowling attack and a batting unit with plenty of depth. The West Indies has failed to perform well as a unit and could struggle in this match.
Bet on New Zealand to win.
