K Aashiq’s top score of 56 against Salem Spartans makes him one of the opening batters to watch out for. Mokit Hariharan was one of the only batters to do anything noteworthy in the previous match after 25 runs at a strike rate of 100. Narayan Jagadeesan, with ten domestic T20 half-centuries, should have enough proof of his stature as one of the better batters in the league.

Captain Baba Aparajith came up as the most explosive batter in the side’s previous match with 30 runs blasted off only 13 balls.

Vijay Shankar has put up the numbers with the bat recently after scoring 251 runs in his past eight innings, while striking at over 150. Lokesh Raj, though only bowling later in the innings, took two wickets against Tiruppur in Qualifier one.

Shivam Singh has not fully shown his sizzling best in Dindigul. The opening batter hit 37 runs against Trichy in the league match at this venue. The Eliminator was a classic exposé of the pure class of Ravichandran Ashwin.

The Dindigul Dragons captain marched the troops home with 83 runs off 48 balls and three for 28 in four overs. Baba Indrajith was solid without being flashy. The wicketkeeper-batter guided the side home with an unbeaten 27 runs.

The hard-hitting Vimal Khumar returns to a ground where he blasted an unbeaten half-century against Trichy Grand Cholas. The powerful Hunny Saini was not required for too long in his previous innings, but the three prior to that were all starts. He hit scores of 35, 37 and 21 against Salem, Nellai and Trichy respectively.

Maan Bafna remains a competitor with the bat and ball. He has 847 runs and 13 wickets in the league.
Ganeshan Periyaswamy and Varun Chakravarthy were close to unplayable against Trichy Grand Cholas. The pair took two wickets each in some brilliant spells of middle-overs bowling.

Ravichandran Sasidharan offers an added string to the bow of the bowling lineup. He took a wicket in the side’s win against Trichy.
