Kyewuta has picked up 2 wickets in both his outings in this tournament. Looking at his good form and with the kind of odds on offer, betting on him seems a good idea.
The West Indies will be looking to build up a winning momentum as it hosts Uganda for a Group C fixture in the ongoing T20 World Cup. The two teams will face off at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Saturday night.
This is the first time that both teams will be facing each other in a T20I.
This match can be live-streamed on the Disney+ Hotstar App or can be watched live on the Star Sports Network.
While the West Indies did make a winning start to its campaign, they will not be too happy with the way they played in the match against Papua New Guinea.
The pace duo of Romario Shepherd and Alzarri Joseph was taken for quite a few runs by the relatively inexperienced PNG batsmen, while spinner Roston Chase went wicketless. So bowling is something that the team needs to work on before it faces the heavyweights going ahead in the tournament.
On the positive side, Andre Russell put up an excellent all-round performance to pick up 2 wickets and also scored 15 runs. The hosts have a strong batting line-up that gives them a big advantage. Brandon King and Johnson Charles will hope to give the team a brisk start, while Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell, and Sherfane Rutherford will play a vital role in the middle order.
We don't think the West Indies team is going to be under much pressure as it takes on Uganda. A tough start against PNG would have shaken any complacency off and we expect a much stronger performance. Markets like Most Sixes, Most Fours, Highest Powerplay Score, and others are where you can find some value.
Consider making parlays or mulitple selection bets to increase the returns even more.
Fresh off a historic win over PNG on Thursday, Uganda will look to punch above its weight as it faces a formidable opponent.
Uganda has a few explosive batsmen in their batting line-up and will hope that they can drive the team to a big score. Riazat Ali Shah is the leading run-scorer for the team and his contribution with the bat was the key to Uganda’s win in the previous game.
The opening pair of Roger Mukasa and Simon Ssesazi has been unable to make an impact, while the form of Robinson Obuya and Dinesh Nakrani has been underwhelming, to say the least. Cosmas Kyewuta and Juma Miyagi will lead the attack with the new ball, while Alpesh Ramjani, Brian Masaba, and Frank Nsubuga are the 3 spinners.
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bowl first.
The pitch at the Providence Stadium helps the bowlers throughout the match. The pitch has an even covering of grass but is on the dry side and has plenty of cracks. The surface is on the slower side and will help the spinners.
A score of around 160 will be challenging to chase.
The weather is likely to be warm and overcast and there may be some showers interrupting the play.
Uganda put up a spirited performance in the last match but it is unlikely they will be able to replicate that result here. Poor as the returns are, the only bet to recommend here is on the hosts. If anything, you can hope for some better odds during the match and take advantage with in-play bets.
Bet on West Indies to win.
