Just like their opponents, the Netherlands began its campaign with a comfortable win over Nepal.  However, with a much more formidable opponent in front of it, the team must be at the top of its game.

The Netherlands’ biggest strength lies in its all-rounders. Bas De Leede, Sybrand Engelbrecht, and Tim Pringle are versatile players who can play an important role with both, the bat as well as the ball. That said, much will depend on the opening pair of Michael Levitt and Max O'Dowd as they look to give the team a strong start.

O'Dowd looked in particularly good form in the previous match as he scored a half-century. There are also a few explosive batsmen in the middle order like Vikramjit Singh, Scott Edwards, and Teja Nidamanuru.

Coming to the pace attack, Logan van Beek and Paul van Meekeren picked up 5 wickets between them in the previous game. They will be joined by Vivian Kingma, while Pringle remains the sole spinner.

South Africa's bowlers put up a scintillating performance in their opening fixture as the team made a winning start to its campaign. The team has none of the most well-balanced squads and is one of the top contenders to win this year.

Led by a fiery Anrich Nortje, the South African seam attack ran through Sri Lanka’s batting line-up and folded them for just 77 runs. The Proteas will look for a similar performance from them in this match too.

Nortje will be supported by Ottneil Baartman, Marco Jansen, and Kagiso Rabada. Keshav Maharaj, who picked up 2 wickets in the last match, is likely to be the only full-time spinner. Coming to the batting, there is plenty of firepower right from the opening pair.

Quinton de Kock, Heinrich Klaasen, and Reeza Hendricks can score quick runs during the Powerplay while the likes of Aiden Markram and Marco Jansen add depth to the batting. 

On paper, the South African team is the most complete team in the entire tournament. It has no real weaknesses and is capable of winning against any team, especially an associate team like the Netherlands.
