The T20 Blast is one of the largest domestic T20 competitions, with 18 teams participating. For the group stage, the teams are split into two sections—the North Group and the South Group. 

Each of the teams plays 14 matches during the group stage. They play six of the other sides in their group home and away, while the other two teams are played just once each. The top two teams from each group will then go on to the quarter-finals, with group winners playing at home. After that, all the winners of the four quarter-finals go on to compete in the T20 Blast's Finals Day.
