IND vs SA Betting Tips

India total runs before fall of 1st wicket Under 26.5

Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill haven’t been consistent as a pair in this tournament and haven’t been able to take India to double digits in both games. As they face South Africa’s strong pace attack, we expect their struggles to continue.

Abhishek Sharma to score Over 26.5 runs

Abhishek Sharma is India’s best batsman this year. While he hasn’t been at his best in the last couple of games, we reckon he will bounce back on this pitch as it suits his aggressive batting style.

IND vs SA Team Previews

India

India squandered away the early advantage it had in this series and will now have to come up with a different strategy as it faces a resurgent South African team.

India’s batting hasn’t been up to the mark so far. While it was Hardik Pandya who saved the day for the hosts in the first match, Tilak Varma was the only batsman who appeared to be in some sort of control on Thursday.

The opening pair of Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma hasn’t been able to get India off to a good start so far. Abhishek Sharma needs to try and stay for a bit longer if he wants to make an impact, while Shubman Gill has outright struggled against the new ball.

Even the usually reliable Suryakumar Yadav hasn’t been in the best of form. The bowlers have been rather inconsistent as well.

Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh went wicketless in the previous match and were pretty expensive as well. The slower bowlers have fared better in comparison, and a lot will depend on them during the middle overs.

India Playing 11

Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Jitesh Sharma (WK), Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Varun Chakravarthy, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, Jasprit Bumrah

The visitors made a strong comeback at Mullanpur and managed to level the series. They will enter this contest with plenty of confidence and will hope to continue with the winning momentum.

Quinton de Kock was at his vintage best as he played a brilliant 90-run knock to propel his team to a match-winning total. He received excellent support from Aiden Markram at the other end and will look to give the Proteas a solid start. With Dewald Brevis, David Miller, and Donovan Ferreira all chipping in with good cameos, South Africa boasts a strong batting line-up.

The team also has a couple of solid all-rounders in George Linde and Marco Jansen, who add depth to the batting. The visitors boast of a strong pace department that consists of Lungi Ngidi, Ottneil Baartman, and Lutho Sipamla.

They have picked up 13 wickets between them and are likely to play an important role in this match as well. However, the spinners have struggled so far.

South Africa Expected Playing 11

Quinton de Kock (WK), Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram (C), Dewald Brevis, Donovan Ferreira, David Miller, George Linde, Marco Jansen, Ottneil Baartman, Lungi Ngidi, Lutho Sipamla

IND vs SA Toss Prediction

The team winning the toss will likely opt to bowl first.

Pitch Report and Weather Conditions

The pitch at Dharamsala is usually good to bat on. There is an even covering of grass, offering good pace and bounce, and the batsmen will be able to play their shots with confidence. The new ball does move around a bit, but the seamers need to be careful with their line and length.

The spinners are likely to struggle.

The weather will remain cloudy, but there is no forecast for rain. The temperature will remain around 10 degrees.

IND vs SA: Who Will Win?

Both teams have been a bit inconsistent, and there is little separating them in terms of form. However, we reckon that India has a slight edge as they have a strong top order and a couple of good all-rounders who can turn the match in the team’s favour.

The betting strategy here has to be to take advantage of the odds being offered on South Africa. Place a pre-match bet on South Africa and then cut your bet when the odds on South Africa become shorter. That way you will ensure you come out ahead whatever happens.

Bet on India to win.
