IND vs SA Betting Tips

Virat Kohli to score Over 39.5 runs

Virat Kohli is in sublime form as he has scored back-to-back centuries in this tournament. He has scored at least 40 runs in each of his last 3 matches. Kohli has an average of over 68 against South Africa and has scored at least 40 runs in 5 of his last 7 innings against them, including 4 centuries and two half-centuries. He has scored 3 centuries at the VDCA Stadium, and we are backing him to play a good knock in this match.

Highest opening partnership India

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma have given India a decent start in both games so far. On the other hand, Quinton de Kock has struggled, and we reckon that he will be unable to give South Africa a good start in this match as well.

IND vs SA Team Previews

India

After winning the first ODI, India put up an excellent batting performance on Wednesday as well. However, it was the bowling and fielding that let the team down, and the hosts squandered away its lead. They will now aim to iron out those flaws and deliver a better performance here.

Virat Kohli put up another dominating performance with the bat, scoring his second consecutive century in the series and will once again be a vital part of India’s batting line-up. He was ably supported by Ruturaj Gaikwad as the duo put up a partnership of 195 runs for the 3rd wicket.

With KL Rahul being in sublime form as well, India has a strong middle order. However, the team will expect a better start from the opening pair, and especially from Yashasvi Jaiswal, who hasn’t been able to get going. India’s bowling hasn’t been the best either.

While Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Prasidh Krishna have picked up wickets, they have been expensive at times. Kuldeep Yadav, who is usually miserly with his economy rate, has also gone for over 7 runs an over. India’s fielding has been rather choppy as well.

India Playing 11

South Africa

South Africa came tantalizingly close to winning the first ODI but weren’t able to cross the finish line. However, they put up another brilliant effort at Raipur to level the series and will be feeling confident as it heads to the last match.

One of the biggest positives for South Africa from the previous match is Aiden Markram. He was a bit inconsistent with the bat in the last few months, but scored a brilliant century to help his team stay on the path to chase a mammoth target.

Matthew Breetzke scored his second consecutive half-century and has batted well under pressure. With the likes of Temba Bavuma and Dewald Brevis also batting well, South Africa has a strong batting line-up.

The team also has a couple of capable all-rounders in Corbin Bosch and Marco Jansen, who add depth to the batting. Tony de Zorzi and Nandre Burger suffered niggles during the previous match, and the team will be awaiting news regarding their availability during this game.

Lungi Ngidi was among the best bowlers of the match and kept the opposition batting under check. He will continue to lead the pace attack, while Keshav Maharaj will lead the spin department.

South Africa Expected Playing 11

Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma (C), Quinton de Kock (WK), Tony de Zorzi, Dewald Brevis, Marco Jansen, Corbin Bosch, Nandre Burger, Lungi Ngidi, Keshav Maharaj, Matthew Breetzke

IND vs SA Toss Prediction

6 of the last 10 matches played here were won while chasing. In 7 of those games, the team winning the toss opted to field first, and we expect that trend to continue.

Pitch Report and Weather Conditions

We are expecting another good batting surface for this match. While the average first-inning score here is around 250, two of the last 3 ODIs played here have seen the team batting first cross the 300-run mark. The surface is flat and offers true pace, allowing the batsmen to play their shots with confidence. The seamers will have to vary their pace and also alter their length to keep the batsmen guessing.

The spinners will play a limited role as the dew makes it difficult to grip the ball. The weather will remain cloudy, with no rain forecast. The temperature will remain between 20 and 25 degrees.

IND vs SA: Who Will Win?

The teams have played two thrilling encounters and are pretty evenly matched in this tournament. Both teams have their weaknesses. India lacks a finisher, while South Africa's top-order batting is a bit wobbly. The form of Virat Kohli and the fact that Rohit Sharma looks set for a big score could help tilt things in India's favor.

Bet on India to win.
