ENG vs SA Betting Tips
South Africa not to have a dismissal in the first over
The South Africans have been flying with the bat on this tour, particularly one half of the opening partnership in Aiden Markram. They should be steady enough to see out the first over without any damage done, much like the first over of their previous match at this venue.
Total runs in the first over for England to be Over 8.5 runs
This is generally one of the better batting grounds, but knowing that, teams should be happy to give themselves a chance in seeing out the new ball and cashing in after the powerplay. The English scored four runs in their previous first over at Trent Bridge. You should be setting yourself up for a great outcome with this bet.

The English have started to find their mojo after romping home to a win by nearly 150 runs in Manchester. With such a power-packed batting lineup on a flatter deck, all sorts of carnage could ensue in Nottingham. Another mouth watering clash is in store.

ENG vs SA Team Previews
England
England is built for white-ball fireworks in Nottingham. Phil Salt and Jos Buttler form a terrifying twin-engine at the top. The two batters are 360-degree hitters who can win the powerplay with powerful shots. Buttler made a frightening 83 runs off just 30 balls in the last game.
Jacob Bethell adds left-hand balance. Captain Harry Brook slots in as the tempo-setter who can switch from first to sixth gear in an instant. His intent shone through with the finishing touches of 41 runs unbeaten off 21 balls.
With Sam Curran and Tom Banton, England own the mid-overs punch and finishing in the death overs. Will Jacks is another handy card up Brook’s sleeve in the middle order.
The bowling is filled with T20 smarts. Jofra Archer’s heavy length and yorkers partner Luke Wood’s left-arm swing in a pace duo that challenges both edges. Archer climbed into the Proteas batters with three wickets at Old Trafford. Adil Rashid remains the strike bowler through the middle.
Together with Liam Dawson’s accuracy and Jacks’ off-spin, the lineup will test South Africa from three distinct spin angles. Left-armers Curran and Dawson both drew blood in the last match with two wickets each.
England Expected Playing 11
Phil Salt, Jos Buttler (wk), Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook (c), Sam Curran, Tom Banton, Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Luke Wood

South Africa
Aiden Markram’s team arrives on the back foot after shipping a record 304 for two to England. That hammering exposed thin plans with the ball and in the field.
Rickelton’s SA20 avalanche of runs has not erased questions about adapting to international tempo. His first innings of the T20I leg was a duck. The middle-order fireworks of Pretorius, Brevis and Stubbs can be intoxicating, but that is a tall ask of some of the youngest international cricketers on the circuit.
In the penultimate T20I, the pair of Pretorius and Brevis could only combine to get six runs.
With the ball, Rabada’s career T20I economy would have taken huge dents after conceding 70 runs in four overs while going wicketless. Marco Jansen and Lizaad Williams were hardly any better when they gave away 60 runs and above in four and three overs respectively.
Jansen’s domestic pedigree is undeniable, but even he can be dragged off length when not everything goes to plan. Kwena Maphaka has pace to burn, but asking a 19-year-old to anchor new-ball phases feels far too optimistic against this thunderous batting lineup.
South Africa Expected Playing 11
Aiden Markram (c), Ryan Rickelton (wk), Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Dewald Brevis, Tristan Stubbs, Donovan Ferreira, Marco Jansen, Bjorn Fortuin, Kagiso Rabada, Kwena Maphaka, Lizaad Williams
ENG vs SA Toss Prediction
There could be an interesting choice at the toss. Recent results might suggest that batting first would be the way to go. The last T20I result at Trent Bridge, together with the expected weather conditions, could force both captains’ hands into wanting to bowl first.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
The Nottingham pitch is one where the batters tend to thrive. The early seam movement for the pacers makes the first innings in the powerplay the best time to bowl on this surface. The fast outfield and true nature of the wicket make any score difficult to defend here. The previous match at Trent Bridge saw New Zealand chase a 176-run target in just under 18 overs.
This day game is likely to experience drops of rain in patches, with a 40 percent chance of rain. Luckily, the earlier start time may allow for the sun to dry up the pitch a bit when the rain subsides. Temperatures will be moderate for the day.
ENG vs SA: Who Will Win?
After a mountain of runs with 304 for two in the last match, the hosts should be looking forward to another scary batting display on one of the better batting tracks for white-ball cricket in the country. The Proteas will need to quickly find the answers to the many questions they were asked by the English bowlers.

ENG vs SA win percentage stands at 61% in favor of ENG.
