Finn Allen to score Under 18.5 runs
Finn Allen hasn’t been in the best of forms of late and has struggled to get going. He has been dismissed for a duck in two of his last 3 innings and has failed to reach double-digits in the 3rd game. As he faces a solid pace attack, we expect Allen’s woes to continue.
Peshawar Zalmi total runs before fall of 1st wicket Under 22.5
Babar Azam and Saim Ayub, despite being quality players, have failed as a pair this season. In the 5 matches played so far, the duo has yet to put up a double-digit partnership. We are therefore expecting another poor outing for them.
Peshawar Zalmi will look to strengthen its place in the top 4 as it takes on the Quetta Gladiators for the second time in the ongoing season of PSL. The two teams will clash on Sunday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The two teams have faced each other in 24 matches to date. Peshawar Zalmi has a slight edge with 13 wins compared to 11 for Quetta.
This match is not available for viewers in India after Fancode and Sony pulled their streaming of the PSL following the terror attack in Kashmir.
Much like their opponents, the Quetta Gladiators have also been inconsistent so far. With 2 wins in 4 games, they have the same number of points as Peshawar Zalmi but are placed below them on the table due to an inferior NRR.
Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen will open the batting for Quetta in this match. While both of them have scored a half-century this season, they are far from their peak form and will need to get some runs under their belt to feel confident. It is story similar to the middle order.
Despite having quality T20 batsmen like Rilee Rossouw, Kusal Mendis, and Hasan Nawaz, the Quetta Gladiators have often found themselves out of depth against quality bowling units. Quetta is likely to include a couple of all-rounders in Mark Chapman and Faheem Ashraf but the duo is yet to prove its worth with the bat.
The Quetta Gladiators have experimented quite a lot with their seam attack and are likely to go with the trio of Mohammad Amir, Khurram Shahzad, and Mohammad Wasim for this match. Abrar Ahmed, who has 8 wickets against his name, is likely to retain his place as the team’s frontline spinner.

Peshawar Zalmi has been rather inconsistent this season and has managed to win only 2 of the 5 matches they have played so far. They are currently placed 4th on the points table.
Peshawar will bank on Saim Ayub and Babar Azam to give them a strong start in this match. They have been in the best of forms so far but given the experience the duo possesses, it is just a matter of time before they get going. Babar did score a half-century in the previous match and the team will expect him to do the same here.
Peshawar boasts of a solid middle order that has some big strikers of the ball like Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Abdul Samad, and Mohammad Haris, while all-rounder Hussain Talat adds depth to the batting. Haris is the leading run-scorer for the team and Talat is close behind and both of them are averaging over 38 runs this year.
Talat has also booked well to pick up 4 wickets and will join the likes of Alzarri Joseph, Ali Raza, and Luke Wood in the pace department. Arif Yaqoob is the only specialist spinner on the team and has done an excellent job, picking up 5 wickets while also being economical.

In 8 of the last 10 matches played here, the team winning the toss opted to field first. In 5 of the last 10 matches, the chasing team ended on the winning side. We think that bowling first will be a better option here.
The Gaddafi Stadium has proved to be one of the more difficult surfaces for the batsmen this year. The surface has an even covering of grass that offers plenty of assistance to the seamers. The ball moves through the air and there is some seam movement as well, making life difficult for the batsmen. However, once the batsmen settle down, they will find it easier to play their shots.
Anything over 170 will be tricky to chase at this venue. The weather is likely to remain clear with temperatures around 30 degrees.
Both teams have been rather inconsistent this season and will be eager to earn two points here. While there is no clear favorite, we feel that Peshawar has a slight edge as some of their batsmen are in good form and they have a very strong seam attack, which could play an important role at this venue.
QG vs PZ win percentage stands at 50% in favor of PZ.
