The Karachi Kings lost their season opener against the Multan Sultans but have since managed to turn things around. They are coming into this contest on the back of consecutive wins and are currently placed 4th on the points table.
Powered by some excellent batting by Kieron Pollard and Shoaib Malik, the middle order has performed well for the Kings this season. Pollard is the leading run-scorer for the team with 135 runs, while Malik is close behind with 121 runs. James Vince and Mohammad Nawaz have chipped in with a couple of valuable knocks.
Skipper Shan Masood will open the batting along with Muhammad Akhlaq but the duo has lacked consistency. The seamers have performed well for the Karachi Kings. Mir Hamza and Hasan Ali have picked up 11 wickets between them while Daniel Sams has 3 against his name.
