Azam hit an unbeaten 111 not out the last time Zalmi played United. Anticipate another telling performance from him against the same opposition.
Zalmi have a 50 percent chance of winning the toss. Bet on them to do this. They will likely choose to bowl first if they win the toss.
Salman is United's top run-scorer this season. His good form includes back-to-back half-centuries against the Multan Sultans and Lahore.
Yaqoob recently became the first bowler to take four wickets in one over in the history of the PSL. That was during a five-wicket haul against United.
Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi will play the 20th match of this season's Pakistan Super League. Zalmi and United currently occupy third and fourth position, respectively, on the PSL points table. Their are six-team in the standings.
There will be plenty to bet on before and during this match. The best cricket betting sites will have good match odds and interesting markets to consider.
Peshawar have three wins to Islamabad's two in their last five PSL meetings. All three of Zalmi's wins came after batting first.

Enjoy these cricket betting tips for the Pakistan Super League match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi on 4 March 2024.
Islamabad's 2024 PSL campaign started with victory over the Lahore Qalandars before they collected three defeats in a row. United then bounced back with a win over the Karachi Kings before sharing a washout with the Quetta Gladiators. Let's see how they could fare this time.
Agha Salman has been their most prolific batter this season. He has gathered 188 runs in five innings at an average well over 60 and strike rate in excess of 150. Those are impressive numbers from this local talent, who has enjoyed solid support from New Zealand recruit Colin Munro.
Bowling-wise, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan have been United' standout performers. Shah has bowled with pace and aggression en route to seven wickets in five matches. Khan, as one of the best leg-spinners in this year's edition of the PSL, has already snared six wickets.
Zalmi's PSL season started with defeats to the Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators before they managed to string together three wins in a row, but have since shared a washout with the Qalandars. Zalmi remain in contention for the title and another win here should help their push for a berth in the play-offs.
Zalmi have appreciated the immense success of Babar Azam this year. He has raced to 330 runs in five innings this tournament, with an average of 82.50 and a strike rate over 150. Azam has been consistently showing why he is one of the best - if not the best - batters in Pakistan.
Arif Yaqoob and Salman Irshad have been in good form with the ball. Yaqoob has taken eight wickets and Irshad seven this tournament. England seamer Luke Wood has also collected seven. This trio could be key again in this match. Naveen-ul-Haq is another good Zalmi seamer to keep an eye on.
This match will be hosted at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Generally, in T20I cricket, teams that have won the toss have chosen to field first.
The same will likely occur for this match. The captain to win the toss will probably opt to field first.
A first-innings score of 160-plus can be considered competitive at this venue. It's well worth playing two specialist slow bowlers here - and perhaps open the bowling with one.
The rain that washed out the PSL double-header in Rawalpindi earlier this week should have cleared in time for this fixture. If the match is shortened by inclement weather, this could help the team chasing an adjusted target.
Peshawar are in a stronger position to win this match than United. Zalmi have the momentum which Islamabad don't - and Peshawar's batting resources have more depth.
Both teams are priced at 1.90 to win here. Betting on Zalmi could bring better value.
