Saim Ayub has been a consistent performer at the top of the order in this series. He has scored at least 24 runs in both his outings and we reckon that he will do so again.
While the pitch at Bulawayo offers plenty of help to the bowlers, the hosts have been unable to exploit the conditions in the two games played so far. Both those matches saw less than 15 wickets and we are expecting that trend to continue.
Having won the series, Pakistan will look to make a clean sweep against Zimbabwe as it faces them for the 3rd and final T20I on Thursday at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
The two teams have faced each other in 20 matches to date. Pakistan has won 17 of them while Zimbabwe has won only two.

While not many would have backed Zimbabwe to win the T20 series against Pakistan, they would have hoped to see at least some resistance from the hosts. But that was not to be as the team is trailing 2-0 and has nothing but pride to play for.
Barring Tadiwanashe Marumani and Sikander Raza, the batting has been pretty average. Marumani is the team’s leading run-scorer and will open the batting with Brian Bennett. The latter did get a good start in the previous game but was unable to convert it.
The other batsmen including Ryan Burl, Dion Myers, Clive Madande, and Tashinga Musekiwa are averaging less than 10 runs and the team will need them to put up a better performance. The bowlers have done an equally disappointing job.
The team’s 3 frontline seamers, Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava, and Trevor Gwandu have picked up only 1 wicket between them, while the spinners Sikander Raza and Wellington Masakadza have managed to pick up 1 wicket each.
Pakistan has been clinical in this series and has hardly broken a sweat so far. It has been an all-round performance from the team and the skipper has little to complain about.
Saim Ayub and Omair Yusuf have been excellent at the top of the order and the team will expect another good start from them. The duo put up an unbeaten partnership of 61 runs on Monday to make small work of the paltry target set for them.
The middle order is pretty inexperienced with players like Usman Khan, Irfan Khan, Tayyab Tahir, and Salman Agha. But they are a talented lot and should rise up to the occasion if the need arises. The bowling has been the highlight of the visitor’s performance.
Sufiyan Muqeem picked up a fifer in the last match and was once again well-supported by Abrar Ahmed. The seam attack is pretty strong as well thanks to the presence of Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi, and Jahandad Khan.
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bat first.
The surface at the Queens Club has been a bit slow in the last two matches and we are expecting a similar trend for this match as well. The ball keeps low and there is plenty of help for the spinners. The batsmen must score briskly when the ball is new and hard. The pitch plays the same throughout the match and the toss won’t make much difference.
The weather is expected to remain warm with temperatures of around 35 degrees.
Pakistan has been clinical in its last two matches and we are backing them to continue playing well. Zimbabwe has had no answers for Pakistan’s spin duo and there are likely to struggle.
Bet on Pakistan to win.
