New Zealand To Win, 1.65
New Zealand has dominated the T20 series and is now clearly the better ODI side also
Pakistan's bowling has really struggled in the series
We think New Zealand's fielding and its depth in batting will help it win
Mohammad Rizwan to score Under 26.5 runs
Rizwan has struggled in his recent outings against New Zealand. He has been able to cross the 26-run mark just twice in his last 6 innings against them and we expect his troubles to continue.
Jacob Duffy to pick up Over 1.5 wickets
Duffy is among the leading wicket-takers of this series. His recent form has been excellent as well. He has picked up at least 2 wickets in 4 of his last 5 outings. As the pitch at Bay Oval does help the seamers, we are backing Duffy to bowl a good spell.
New Zealand will look to complete a clean sweep against Pakistan as they face each other for the 3rd and final ODI of this tour on Saturday. The match will be played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

Despite not playing with its first-choice eleven, New Zealand has put up a clinical performance in the ODI series. The team has won both the matches played so far convincingly and will look to end the tour on a high.
The young batsmen have slotted in perfectly into the line-up. Rhys Mariu, who was making his international debut on Wednesday, played well to put up a stable opening partnership with Nick Kelly. Muhammad Abbas and Mitchell Hay have been pretty solid in the middle order, with Hay scoring an unbeaten 99 runs in the previous match to take his team to a match-winning total.
The batting unit also has experienced batsmen like Daryl Mitchell, Henry Nicholls, and Michael Bracewell. Mark Chapman, who missed the last match due to an injury, is likely to be fit for this match, further bolstering the unit. The bowlers have performed equally well for the hosts.
Ben Sears bowled a brilliant spell on Wednesday to pick up a fifer. Jacob Duffy and Nathan Smith have picked up 5 wickets as well. The spinners however haven’t had much to do so far.

Pakistan’s poor form seems to have no end, especially against the Black Caps. The team put up another meek performance and has already lost the series. They will now hope to redeem themselves and seek a compensatory victory in the last match of this tour.
The frontline batsmen including Imam ul Haq, Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafique, and Tayyab Tahir have struggled to get going, putting enormous pressure on the other batsmen. Babar Azam did score a half-century in the first match but was dismissed for just one run on Wednesday as the visitors lost half the side with just 32 runs on the board.
The only silver lining for Pakistan was Faheem Ashraf, who scored a brilliant 73 runs under pressure and put up a 60-run partnership with Naseem Shah, who came in as a concussion substitute for Haris Rauf, for the 9th wicket. The latter scored his maiden ODI half-century as well.
However, it was too little too late to make any difference to the end result. The bowling has been pretty ordinary as well. Pakistan will need its seam trio of Haris Rauf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Akif Javed to step up and pick up early wickets with the new ball.
Abdullah Shafique, Imam ul Haq, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan (C & WK), Salman Agha, Tayyab Tahir, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Waseem Jr, Naseem Shah, Akif Javed, Sufiyan Muqeem
Half of the last 10 ODIs played at Bay Oval were won by teams batting first, while the other half were won while chasing. It has been a similar story at the toss as well. Half of the time, the team winning the toss has opted to bat first, while on 5 occasions, the team winning the toss opted to field. Looking at the recent trend, batting first might be a better option.
The Bay Oval is one of the highest-scoring venues in New Zealand and we can expect plenty of runs here. While the average first-inning score here is around 272, the team batting first will look to cross the 300-run mark. While the ball does move around during the first few overs, it gets easier to bat as the innings progresses.
The spinners can expect some help during the second half. The weather is likely to be cloudy with temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees.
We will back New Zealand to win this match. They have outplayed Pakistan in all aspects of the game and we expect them to continue playing well. The latter struggled in the T20 series and ODIs as well and it is unlikely that they will bounce back.
NZ vs PAK Win percentage is 58% in favor of New Zealand.
