The bowlers will get plenty of help at the Bellerive Oval. Going after them could be difficult, especially due to the overcast conditions expected there. The average run rate at this venue is 8.21. We are, therefore, unlikely to see a big over.
Pakistan has tried two different combinations in two games but hasn’t been able to get a good start. Australia has consistently been opening with Matthew Short and Jake Fraser-McGurk and has put up the higher partnership in both games. Therefore, Australia is more likely to have a bigger partnership yet again.
Having already won the series 2-0, Australia will look to complete a clean sweep over Pakistan as it hosts them for the final match of this tour on Monday. The match will be played at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.
The two teams have faced each other in 27 matches to date and both teams have won 13 games each. One match ended without any result.

Putting the loss of the ODI series behind them, Australia made a strong comeback in the shortest format, winning both the matches played so far and has already claimed the series. They will now go for the jugular and make a clean sweep on Monday.
Matthew Short and Jake Fraser-McGurk gave the team a brisk start on Saturday to set the tone for a big total. While neither of them has been able to post a big total during this tour, it has been a good learning experience against a strong pace attack and they have an excellent future waiting for them.
While the hosts are missing some of their regulars like Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head, they have still managed to put up some decent scores thanks to the all-rounders like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Aaron Hardie.
They are unlikely to tinker with the batting combination for this final match. Spencer Johnson put up a special performance on Saturday to pick up a fifer and will lead the pace attack. He has been ably supported by Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis.
Adam Zampa is consistent as ever and has picked up 2 wickets in both games.
After a historic win in the ODI series, Pakistan would have hoped to replicate the result in the shortest format as well. However, that was not to be and all they can fight for is a consolation win to end this tour.
The batting from Pakistan has been rather inconsistent in the last couple of matches. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan opened the batting for the team in the previous match but weren’t able to give them the start they would have hoped for.
The middle order is quite inexperienced but has some talented players, such as Usman Khan, Sahibzada Farhan, and Irfan Khan. Usman Khan played well on Saturday to score his first international half-century. Pakistan’s biggest strength could be its pace attack.
Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi have been the pick of the bowlers, scalping 5 wickets each. However, they will expect a better performance from Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bat first.
The pitch at the Bellerive Oval is usually well-balanced and we can expect a good contest between the bat and the ball. The average first-inning score here is around 160. The seamers will get some swing early on in the game and the batsmen will have to be a bit careful. However, as the game progresses, it gets easier to bat on.
The spinners can expect some turn if they hit the right areas.
The weather in Hobart is likely to be overcast and there could be a couple of showers during the day.
Australia has been clinical in the T20 series and will be pretty confident as it heads into this contest. Pakistan has its back against the wall and will find it difficult to turn things around.
Bet on Australia to win.
