After a dodgy start to their campaign, the Lumbini Lions seem to be on a road to recovery as they have won consecutive matches heading into this contest. The latest of those wins came on Wednesday against Biratnagar Kings. As a result, the team has climbed up to the second place on the points table.
After a string of poor performances, D’Arcy Short managed to find some form as he struck his first half-century of the season in the last match. He will continue to open the batting alongside Sumit Maharjan.
Rohit Paudel has been the key batsman for Lumbini Lions and is also the leading run-scorer for them. He will feature in the middle order along with Sundeep Jora, Niroshan Dickwella, and Dilip Nath. The return of JJ Smit to the playing XI also adds depth to the batting.
