The Chitwan Rhinos got back to winning ways as they defeated table-toppers Biratnagar Kings in a one-sided encounter on Wednesday. As a result, the team has moved up to third place on the points table.

Ravi Bopara continues to impress with the bat as he slammed his third consecutive half-century on Wednesday and is the leading run-scorer of the tournament. He will be the key batsman in the middle order along with Dev Khanal, Saif Zaib, and Kushal Malla.

The opening pair is made up of Deepak Bohara and Dawid Malan. While they aren’t in the best of form, they will look to give Chitwan a brisk start in this match. Ranjit Kumar, playing his first match of the season, bowled a brilliant spell to pick up a fifer and will lead the spin department along with Saif Zaib and Kushal Malla.

The Kathamandu Gorkhas haven’t been in the best of forms and have been a bit inconsistent at the halfway mark. However, they are coming into this contest on the back of a win against the Lumbini Lions and will be feeling confident.

Aakash Tripathi is the team’s best batsman and is also the leading run-scorer for the Gorkhas this season. He will look to give the team a solid start as he joins Ben Charlesworth in the opening slot. The middle order has plenty of all-rounders, including Rashid Khan, Gerhard Erasmus, Santosh Yadav, and Mohammad Aadil Alam, and the Kathmandu Gorkhas will expect at least a couple of them to play well.

While most of them have got decent starts, they are yet to play a big knock, except Aadil Alam, who scored a half-century earlier in the series. Karan KC and Milind Kumar are the team’s best bowlers, picking up 7 wickets each.
