The Biratnagar Kings were among the best teams during the Group stage and finished second on the table. However, they were defeated by Sudurpaschim Royals in Qualifier 1 and will have a second shot at making it to the finals.
A lot will depend on the opening pair of Sam Heazlett and Faf du Plessis. Du Plessis has played a couple of decent knocks so far, but the team will need him to stay on the pitch for a bit longer and play a big inning. Similarly, his opening partner, Sam Heazlett, has been a bit inconsistent as well.
The Biratnagar Kings have two solid middle-order batsmen in the form of Basir Ahamad and Lokesh Bam. They are the top two run-getters for the team and will remain the key players for the Kings. Another player to watch out for is Martin Guptill, as he can play the big shots with ease.

D'Arcy Short has batted well in the last few matches and will be the key for the Lions at the top of the order. He is likely to open the batting alongside Dinesh Adhikari. Rohit Paudel remains the leading run-scorer for the team and forms the backbone of the middle order along with Niroshan Dickwella, Sundeep Jora, and Dilip Nath, while the all-rounder JJ Smit adds depth to the batting.
