Yashasvi Jaiswal to score over 24.5 runs
The left-hander has created an accomplished career in India’s premier domestic T20 competition. He hit an unbeaten ton against Mumbai Indians in Jaipur in 2024. The youngster is likely to at least make another start at his home stadium.
First ball of the match to be a dot ball
Take the conservative route with this bet. Mumbai Indians faced four consecutive dot balls against Lucknow Super Giants in their opening over. Across both opening overs in the match, more than half of the legal deliveries were dot balls.
Mumbai Indians have put themselves back among the contenders for the play-offs after a mesmerizing run of winning form. Rajasthan Royals have a mathematically slim hope of still getting into the top four, but they will need to walk away with a win here and a lot of results going their way too.

He scored his maiden IPL ton against Gujarat Titans.
Left-hander Nitish Rana brings experience and middle-order stability with over 2500 IPL runs in his career. Dhruv Jurel hit two half-centuries last season, showing his ability to mix a mature innings with boundary striking.

The Sri Lankan leg-spinning all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga missed IPL 2024 after being released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the season. However, he boasts an impressive IPL track record of 45 wickets.
Ace fast bowler Jofra Archer will bring fiery pace to the crease. He has the CV from 2020 to be one of the top players in the tournament, despite struggling at times in 2025. He was the most valuable player in the IPL for 2020. Mystery finger-spinner Maheesh Theekshana will aim to rediscover the wicket-taking form of his 2022 debut season when he took 12 wickets in nine matches.
Veteran swing bowler Sandeep Sharma performed admirably in 2024 with 13 wickets. He took his career best IPL bowling figures of five for 18 against Mumbai in 2024. Yudhvir Singh will look to make the most of his chances, using his pace to break partnerships and impress in the upcoming season.

South African Ryan Rickelton has provided an explosive start to his debut IPL season, registering two half-centuries and maintaining a rapid scoring rate that helps MI dominate the powerplay. Alongside him, Rohit Sharma has shown glimpses of his classic form, striking a couple of half-centuries in 2025 despite some inconsistency.
Suryakumar Yadav has been in magnificent touch, averaging 61 this season and scoring freely in the middle overs with his trademark 360-degree strokeplay. Young Tilak Varma has been a revelation once again. Varma has almost 1400 runs in the IPL. Completing the batting firepower, Naman Dhir has emerged as a surprise finisher for Mumbai with a batting strike rate at a fraction over 180.
Among the all-rounders, Hardik Pandya’s return, and as captain too, has added experience and flexibility to Mumbai’s setup. The Mumbai rockstar has more than 5000 T20 career runs and more than 200 T20 career wickets. Will Jacks has brought great balance to the side with brisk cameos and impactful spells of off-spin, including a player-of-the-match effort against Lucknow Super Giants.
South African recruit Corbin Bosch has also played useful roles, with a late-innings cameo and a wicket in his IPL debut.
The bowling attack remains Mumbai Indians’ greatest strength. The imperious Jasprit Bumrah recently became the franchise’s all-time leading wicket-taker after taking four wickets in his previous bowling innings. Bumrah has combined superbly with Trent Boult, who has once again excelled with the swinging new ball. The former Black Cap has taken seven wickets in his past two matches.
Deepak Chahar has complemented the strike bowlers effectively, using his late swing and stump-to-stump accuracy to make inroads during the powerplay. The right-arm pacer has 85 IPL wickets.

Both teams’ captains could prefer chasing. Mumbai Indians have won three of their past four matches by chasing. Each of the past four fixtures between Rajasthan and Mumbai have also been won by the side batting second.
In recent IPL 2025 matches at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium, the pitch has offered a balanced battle between bat and ball. Bowlers who mix up their pace and hit hard lengths have found some assistance. The 180-run mark for the first innings at this venue was breached four times out of five in 2024. The only innings which missed the mark was Mumbai Indians’ 179 for nine against Rajasthan Royals.
You can expect a scorcher of a night in Jaipur. Humidity will be a slight factor. Conditions will be partly cloudy with a five percent chance of rain.
Despite having to play in conditions away from home, the Mumbai Indians’ current form of five wins in a row is intimidating. They should be strong favourites. Those five wins have been a combination of wins home and away. The Rajasthan Royals have been on the opposite end of the spectrum. Since beating Punjab Kings, they have slumped to five losses on the trot, with one of those in a super over. They changed their fortunes around with a win over Gujarat though.
MI is still the team to back them.
RR vs MI win percentage stands at 60% in favor of MI.
