Suryakumar Yadav to score Over 30.5 runs
Suryakumar Yadav is the leading run-scorer for Mumbai and has scored an average of 72.87 in his 13 outings. He has scored at least 31 runs in his last 6 innings, including 3 half-centuries. He has also scored a half-century in his last 3 outings against the Punjab Kings and we are backing him to play another good knock here.
Punjab Kings total runs before 1st dismissal Over 22.5
Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya are among the most successful opening pair this season. They have scored an aggregate of 433 runs at an average of over 33 runs. As the pitch in Jaipur is good to bat on, we expect them to give Punjab yet another good start.
The Mumbai Indians will look to build up on the winning momentum before the playoffs begin. They will face the Punjab Kings in what will be their last group-stage match on Monday. The two teams will clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

While the Punjab Kings have already qualified for the playoffs, they will be a bit disappointed with the outcome of their latest fixture against the Delhi Capitals, which they lost by 6 wickets. Nevertheless, they are still placed in the second spot on the points table and will hope to retain the position by winning this match.
A lot will depend on the opening pair of Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. The duo has been among the most consistent opening pairs in the season and will look to give the Kings a steady start here. Shreyas Iyer continued with his red-hot form as he scored his 5th half-century of the season on Saturday and is now the leading run-scorer for his team.
With Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis back in the playing XI, the Punjab Kings have considerable depth in their batting as they join the likes of Marco Jansen, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, and Azmatullah Omarzai. The team can also employ Aaron Hardie’s services should the need arise.

The Mumbai Indians have scripted a remarkable turnaround this season. Just when everyone thought that the team was staring at yet another early elimination, the Indians went on to win 7 of their last 8 matches and have already sealed a spot in the playoffs.
Ryan Rickleton and Rohit Sharma have been pretty consistent at the top of the order and will look to give the team a strong start in this match. Both of them are capable of playing the big shots and could take the game away pretty quickly from the opposition.
In the middle order, Suryakumar Yadav has been in excellent form and is among the top three run-getters of the season. He, along with Tilak Varma, add heft to the batting line-up. There are a couple of quality batsmen in the form of Hardik Pandya and Will Jacks but they haven’t been able to contribute much so far.
Coming to the bowling, the Mumbai Indians boast of a strong pace attack that consists of Jasprit Bumrah, Deepak Chahar, and Trent Boult. Boult is the leading wicket-taker for the team with 19 wickets. The Indians are also likely to include Mitchell Santner as the lead spinner who can also bat.

It is an even split as 5 of the last 10 matches played here were won while chasing while the other half were won while batting first. In 4 of those games, the captain winning the toss opted to bat first and we think that it will be the way to go for this match as well.
The Sawai Mansingh pitch is likely to be flat and hard, offering excellent pace and bounce. The batsmen will enjoy batting on this surface and we can expect a high-scoring game. There is very little moisture in the surface and the seamers will have a tough time trying to get movement off the seam. The spinners can expect slightly better as the odd ball does tend to keep low.
The team batting first will look to score close to 200 runs to give the bowlers a chance at defending the target. The weather will remain hot and dry with temperatures over 36 degrees.
Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs but we expect them to give a 100% here as a place in the top two is up for grabs. While there is very little separating them at the moment, we feel that the Mumbai Indians have a slight edge thanks to a stronger bowling unit. That said, Punjab will not let them have it easy. Bet on Mumbai Indians to win this match.
PBKS vs MI win percentage stands at 56% in favor of MI.
