The Lucknow Super Giants enjoyed a steady start to their campaign but 4 losses in their last 5 matches have left them in a precarious situation. With only 3 games left to go, LSG is 7^th on the points table and if they lose here, they will have only a mathematical chance of making it to the playoffs.

The Lucknow Super Giants’ overreliance on the top order seems to have affected the team’s fortunes. While the likes of Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, and Nicholas Pooran were in blazing form at the start of the season, they haven’t been able to get going with the same intensity over the last couple of weeks and that has affected the team’s morale.

Rishabh Pant continues to struggle in the middle order and so have David Miller and Abdul Samad. Ayush Badoni has played a couple of decent knocks but that hasn’t nearly been enough to help the team win matches.
