First Boundary Will Be A Four
CSK has very conservative opening batters and with Marsh unlikely to be avialable, even the LSG openers are more likely to start with a boundary rather than a six
Total Wickets - Over 13.5
CSK has struggled with the bat and we don't think things are going to become any easier for it. LSG also plays an aggressive brand of cricket and can lose wickets in the process. We like the returns on this bet very much.
The Lucknow Super Giants have won four out of the six matches that they have played so far and look set to continue their rise in the IPL points table. Chennai Super Kings have been woeful so far. They have lost their last five matches and without Ruturaj Gaikwad, the outlook does not look any better.

LSG and CSK have played each other four times. LSG has won three out of those matches. The only match that they ended up losing was at the MA Chidamabaram Stadium.
This match can be watched live on the JioHotstar App and Star Sports Network.
Not having Mitchell Marsh in their lineup was a big blow to LSG but it also gave them the chance to try out Rishab Pant at the top. He batted well and was able to get some much-needed time at the crease but the fluency is still missing.
The real story, though, has been the consistency that Nicholas Pooran has shown while still being one of the most aggressive and destructive batters in the world. He is easily the best T20 batter in the world right now and he is making this IPL his own.
With Markram in good form, Ayush Badoni chipping in, and David Miller in the lower-middle order, LSG's batting is far stronger than what CSK has.
We were worried about the LSG bowling unit, but players like Digvesh Rathi, Avesh Khan, and Ravi Bishnoi have stepped up. The fast bowling is still weak with Shardul Thakur and Akash Deep as the two opening bowlers. This is where LSG is vulnerable and can be taken down.
Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Himmat Singh, David Miller, Abdul Samad, Shardul Thakur, Akash Deep, Digvesh Singh Rathi, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi
No team has played worse cricket or looked out of place in the modern IPL as CSK has in this season. Nothing that they have done has worked for them and even players like Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway have not been able to perform as per expectations.
Losing Ruturaj Gaikwad is such a big blow that we don't think they are going to recover from it. To have players like Ashwin, Jadeja, Shankar, Tripathi, and Hooda in the lineup is absolutely criminal. CSK's management needs to be held responsible.
In fact, MS Dhoni at 43 is perhaps their best batter in the end overs.
The bowling is not much better as Ashwin and Jadeja have failed to make an impact. Noor Ahmad is the only bowler that has consistently been able to cause any sort of problems for the opposition. With a rampant LSG bowling unit waiting for them, we don't think things are going to change any time soon.
Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Rahul Tripathi, Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Noor Ahmad, Anshul Kamboj, Khaleel Ahmed
Two out of the three matches played at Lucknow have been won by the team chasing. We think that is what the captain that wins the toss would like to do.
The pitch at the Ekana Stadium is usually balanced but it looks like the home team has asked for flat wickets that allow their batters to play freely. The same is expected for this match against CSK as well. We don't see the pitch being slow to being the CSK spinners into play.
A lot of runs may be scored, especially if LSG bats first.
CSK has been terrible and without any major change in their personnel, leadership, or approach, things are not going to change. They may be able to win one or two matches but we think betting against them consistently this season is going to reap big rewards. LSG is the form team and the one that we are going to back.
LSG vs CSK win percentage stands at 56% in favor of GT.
