First Boundary To Be A Four
The CSK batters are very conservative while the absence of Mitch Marsh from the opening slot might make the SRH batters be more circumspect also. A four is much liklier than a six.
Total Wickets - Over 13.5
CSK has been the worst batting lineup of IPL 2025 and we don't think things are going to get any easier. A lot of wickets may fall in this match.
The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will host the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 30th match of IPL 2025 on April 14 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. LSG aims to leverage their home advantage, while CSK seeks to maintain their winning momentum. Key players to watch include Nicholas Pooran and Ravi Bishnoi for LSG, and Devon Conway and Matheesha Pathirana for CSK. The pitch is expected to offer a balanced contest between bat and ball, setting the stage for an exciting encounter.

LSG has won three out of the four completed matches it has played against CSK. It has not lost a single game against CSK while playing at home.
This match can be watched live on the JioHotstar App and Star Sports Network.
LSG currently holds a balanced record with four wins and two losses. They have found good form in their recent encounters and even the loss of Mitchell Marsh did not hold them back. The batting has been led by Nicholas Pooran, who is currently the best T20 batter in the world.
Not only is Pooran remarkably consistent, he continues to bat in an ultra-aggressive manner and hits more sixes than anyone else! The batting is well supported by the likes of Markram, Miller, Badoni, and Samad.
Pant has been out of form so far but you can never really count him out.
The bowling is led by the spinners, Digvesh Rathi and Ravi Bishnoi, both of whom have done very well. The pace bowling resources are thin and can be put under pressure.
Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Himmat Singh, David Miller, Abdul Samad, Shardul Thakur, Akash Deep, Digvesh Singh Rathi, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi
The Chennai Super Kings have been the worst IPL team so far. No other team has played such outdated cricket or looked so left behind. The fault lies with the management that picked a team with players well past their best. Their assistance in keeping a 43 year old MS Dhoni has not helped either, however, Dhoni continues to be one of CSK's best batters in the end overs.
The bowling is ineffective as Ashwin and Jadeja have not been able to make an impact. Only Noor Ahmad has been good with the ball and continues to take wickets in almost every match that he plays.
The lack of power + form from the batters, including Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, and Shivam Dube has been a huge letdown for CSK. It will be very difficult for CSK to bounce back with players such as Ashwin, Jadeja, Hooda, Tripathi, and Shankar at its core.
Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Rahul Tripathi, Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Noor Ahmad, Anshul Kamboj, Khaleel Ahmed
Two out of the three matches played at Lucknow have been won by the team that has chased. We think that is what is going to be the preferred option in this match also.
The pitch at the Ekana Stadium is usually balanced but it looks like the home team has asked the curator to make flatter batting wickets that its batters can take advantage of. We expect there to be a lot of runs to be scored in this match as well. The weather is expected to be quite good for cricket.
There is no chance of rain and we should not have any interruptions.
LSG is clearly the stronger team and also in better form. CSK is just a poorly put-together team that has lost its previous five matches. We are going to bet against CSK every chance we get because that has proven to be a very successful strategy up until now and we expect it to continue for this entire season.
LSG vs CSK win percentage stands at 56% in favor of LSG.
