Total runs in 1st innings Over 191.5
The pitch here is likely to be excellent to bat on. In each of the 6 matches played here this season, the team batting first has scored at least 196 runs and we expect that trend to continue.
Shubman Gill to score Over 34.5 runs
Shubman Gill has been one of the best batsmen of the tournament and has scored at an average of 57.81 in 13 innings. He has scored at least 35 runs in each of his last 6 outings, including 4 half-centuries. He has scored at least 35 runs in 4 of his last 5 innings against CSK which include a half-century and a century. Seeing his good form, we are backing Gill to play another good knock here.
The Chennai Super Kings will look to end their campaign on a high as they take on the Gujarat Titans for their final match of the tournament. The two teams will face off at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Gujarat Titans will look to retain their place at the top of the points table as they take on the Chennai Super Kings in what will be their final group-stage match. While their place in the playoffs is already confirmed, the Titans will be disappointed with the way they lost the match against LSG on Thursday.
Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill gave the team another steady start and will look to do the same in this match as well. They are among the most consistent opening pairs of the tournament and are also the top two run-getters of the season. The Titans will also want Jos Buttler to play a special knock before he departs for international duties after this match.
Sherfane Rutherford and Shahrukh Khan have some runs under their belt and will be feeling confident ahead of this game. However, the form of the two all-rounders, Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan isn’t the best.
Coming to the bowling, Prasidh Krishna remains the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 21 wickets and is ably supported by Mohammed Siraj. However, Kagiso Rabada and Arshad Khan haven’t been able to pick wickets. Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan continue to feature in the spin department.
Gujarat Titans Expected Playing 11
Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill (C), Jos Buttler (WK), Sherfane Rutherford, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna

For the second consecutive season, the Chennai Super Kings have failed to make it to the playoffs. While they finished 5th place at the end of the 2024 edition, they are at the risk of ending with the wooden spoon this time around.
There are a lot of issues that CSK needs to iron out before the next season. They have struggled to find a consistent opening pair and that has had a cascading effect on the middle order. Shivam Dube, Urvil Patel, and Dewald Brevis have played a couple of decent knocks but they lack consistency.
MS Dhoni has played a couple of good knocks as well but has seemed past his prime this time around. In the spin department, Noor Ahmad is the joint-highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 21 wickets and will be joined by Ravindra Jadeja.
Khaleel Ahmed has been impressive with the new ball and has picked up 14 wickets. Matheesha Pathirana has picked up 12 wickets as well but he has been pretty expensive.
Ayush Mhatre, Devon Conway, Dewald Brevis, Ravichandran Ashwin, MS Dhoni (C & WK), Shivam Dube, Khaleel Ahmed, Noor Ahmad, Matheesha Pathirana, Ravindra Jadeja, Anshul Kamboj
6 of the last 10 matches played here have been won while batting first. In 9 of those games, the captain winning the toss opted to field first. However, we feel that batting first might be a better option in this match.
The Narendra Modi Stadium has produced some excellent batting surfaces this season and has seen an average first-inning score of around 220 runs. The surface is likely to be hard and flat, offering excellent pace and bounce. There is a fair bit of grass on the pitch and the seamers could extract some movement off the seam if they hit the right areas but overall, the batsmen are likely to dominate.
The weather will be hot and humid with temperatures around 38 degrees.
We are backing the Gujarat Titans to win this match. While they are coming here on the back of a loss, they have been one of the most consistent teams of the season and are likely to bounce back. On the other hand, the Super Kings appear out of depth in all departments.
GT vs CSK win percentage stands at 64% in favor of GT.
