India is the current T20 World Champion and it became so by defeating South Africa in an unforgettable Final. Now, the two teams will meet once again in a T20 series filled with superstars on both sides.
India has been unstoppable in T20 cricket this year. It has won 19 matches and lost just one. South Africa has also had a brilliant season and is a force to be reckoned with at home.
Both teams also seem to be going through a bit of a transition phase. Suryakumar Yadav is now the captain of the Indian cricket team and will be without the services of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, or Ravindra Jadeja (all of whom have retired from the format). South Africa is also going to be without Quinton de Kock, Kagiso Rabada, and a number of its other leading faces for this tour.
There are just four matches (an incredibly odd number) in this T20 series and we are reasonably sure that most of them will go down to the wire!
