Australia

Australia played well during the ODI series as it won the first couple of matches quite comfortably. However, they suffered a comprehensive defeat in the third ODI on Saturday and will hope to bounce back here.

Mitchell Marsh continues to lead the team in the T20s as well and will head a power-packed batting line-up. Travis Head hasn’t been in the best of form of late, but he is a dangerous batsman at the top of the order once he gets going.

Matthew Short played a couple of good knocks in the ODIs and will be a key player in the middle order. Australia has included a couple of quality all-rounders in the form of Marcus Stoinis and Tim David, who could help the team with a late flourish during the death overs. Josh Inglis is likely to take on the gloves behind the stumps.

Coming to the bowling, Mitchell Starc has been rested, and in his absence, Josh Hazlewood will lead the pace attack and will be supported by Sean Abbott and Xavier Bartlett. Australia has included two full-time spinners in the squad, but is likely to include only Zampa in the playing XI.

Suryakumar Yadav will take over the reins of the team. He is currently one of the best batsmen in the 20-over format and will be joined by Tilak Varma and Shubman Gill in the middle order.

Abhishek Sharma returns to the playing XI and will look to give India a brisk start. He will likely partner with Sanju Samson at the top of the order. The Indian squad has plenty of all-rounders as well, including Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Nitish Reddy, and Shivam Dube.

All of them are quality batsmen and can also bowl well. Jasprit Bumrah comes in to lead the seam department and will be joined by Arshdeep Singh, while Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav are likely to feature in the spin department.
