AUS vs IND Betting Tips
India Total runs before fall of first wicket Over 24.5
Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill have been pretty consistent at the top of the order and have given India some good starts. They have scored at least 25 runs as a pair in 3 of the 4 games in this series, and seeing their good form, we are backing them to give India a good start.
Abhishek Sharma to score Over 22.5 runs
Abhishek Sharma has been in brilliant form this year and is averaging close to 46 runs in his last 17 innings. He has scored at least 23 runs in 12 of his last 14 innings, 4 half-centuries, and a century. The bounce at the Gabba may suit his style of play.

AUS vs IND Team Previews
Australia
Australia will be disappointed with the way it has performed in the T20 series. They had won the ODI series comfortably and came in with plenty of confidence. However, they weren’t able to play with the same momentum and have already lost the chance to win the series.
Australia’s batting, particularly from the top order, has been very mediocre, to say the least. While Mitchell Marsh has had a couple of good starts, he hasn’t been able to convert them into big knocks, and nor has he received support from the other end.
The absence of Travis Head in the opening slot is also hurting the team. While there are talented batsmen like Matthew Short, Josh Inglis, and Josh Phillippe, they haven’t been able to contribute much. The two all-rounders, Tim David and Marcus Stoinis, have played well in the death overs, but it has often been a case of too little too late for the team.
Talking about the bowling, Nathan Ellis has been the best bowler of this tournament, picking up 9 wickets, and will once again lead the spin department. However, he will need better support from Xavier Bartlett and Marcus Stoinis. Adam Zampa will continue to lead the spin department.
Australia Expected Playing 11
Mitchell Marsh (C), Matthew Short, Tim David, Josh Inglis (WK), Josh Phillippe, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Xavier Bartlett, Adam Zampa

India
After a disappointing outing in the ODIs, India has something to cheer about as they have been able to save the series, especially after going one down. They will now go for the jugular and aim to win the series.
Abhishek Sharma continues to be brilliant at the top of the order and will once again be the key batsman for India. He will be joined by Shubman Gill as his opening partner who has some work to do on his strike rate. The middle order, barring Suryakumar Yadav, has been rather inconsistent but their intent has been good.
Jitesh Sharma and Tilak Varma are both talented youngsters, and if one of them gets going, India could post a big total. The all-rounders, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, and Axar Patel have all chipped in with valuable cameos at different stages.
Arshdeep Singh has bowled well with the new ball and will continue to lead India’s pace attack along with Jasprit Bumrah. Varun Chakravarthy, Washington, and Axar Patel form a strong spin department.
India Expected Playing 11
Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Jitesh Sharma (WK), Tilak Varma, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy
AUS vs IND Toss Prediction
7 of the last 10 matches played here were won while batting first. In 6 of those games, the team winning the toss opted to bat first, and we expect that trend to continue.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
We are expecting a competitive surface for this match, which remains true throughout the game. There is a good pace and bounce, and the quicker bowlers can expect movement off the seam. However, once the batsmen settle down, playing shots will get easier.
The team batting first will aim to score over 180 runs to put the opposition under pressure. The slower bowlers are expected to have a limited impact.
The weather is likely to remain overcast, and we can expect some showers during the evening.
AUS vs IND: Who Will Win?
This series has been a rollercoaster ride, with both teams playing well in patches. Nevertheless, we reckon that India starts this match as the favorites to win. They have a strong opening pair and a lot of depth in their batting. India’s bowling unit is well-rounded as well.
Bet on India to win.
| Pro Tip: While Brisbane is one of the bounciest wickets in Australia, the big boundaries also end up helping the spinners. Picking Adam Zampa as the Top Bowler for Australia or Varun Chakravarthy for India might be a great shout here. |
