India To Win, 1.80

Australia has rested Travis Head from the remainder of the series. They seem to be focussing on the Ashes now and that could make them vulnerable.

Australia has lost 4 of its last 5 matches against India.

India is in great form in T20 cricket with 10 wins out of its previous 11 matches.

AUS vs IND Betting Tips

Abhishek Sharma to score Over 23.5 runs

Abhishek Sharma is India’s leading run-scorer this year and has an average of close to 37 in his T20 career. He has scored at least 24 runs in 11 of his last 13 innings, and we are backing him to play a good knock here.

Ben Dwarshuis to be the best bowler for Australia

Dwarshuis is the joint-highest wicket-taker for Australia this year with 15 wickets in 8 innings. He has picked up at least 2 wickets in 4 of his last 5 matches. Since the pitch at Gold Coast does help the seamers, this could be a bet worth going for.

AUS vs IND Team Previews

Australia

After a thumping victory over the visitors in the first T20, Australia was outclassed on Sunday as they were beaten quite comfortably by India.

There are a few changes in the Australian squad before the start of this match, with the biggest news being the departure of Travis Head. While he wasn’t at his best in this series, he is unarguably one of the best opening batsmen in the world, and his absence leaves a void in the batting unit.

Mitchell Marsh continues to lead the batting line-up and will be supported by Matthew Short, Josh Inglis, and Tim David. We are also likely to see Glenn Maxwell return to the playing XI and join Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Owen in the middle order. Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis have bowled well and are likely to retain their place in the team.

However, with Sean Abbott unavailable, we will see Ben Dwarshuis come in to lead the attack with the new ball while Kuhnemann continues to lead the spin department.

Australia Expected Playing 11

Mitchell Marsh (C), Josh Inglis (WK), Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Short, Mitchell Owen, Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett, Nathan Ellis, Matthew Kuhnemann

India

India scripted an excellent turnaround in the second T20 to level the series and now has a chance to gain an unassailable lead in Gold Coast. Considering the team’s performance, we are unlikely to see any changes in the starting XI.

Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill continue to open the batting for the team. Abhishek Sharma has been brilliant against the new ball and will look to get the team to another flying start. However, Shubman Gill has been inconsistent, and the team will expect a better performance from him.

The middle order is dangerous and very flexible, with Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma being joined by Axar Patel. Washington Sundar was brilliant with the bat in the previous match and definitely retains his place along with Jitesh Sharma.

Coming to the bowling, Arshdeep Singh was India’s best bowler on Sunday as he picked up 3 wickets and will join Jasprit Bumrah with the new ball. Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel will lead the spin department.

India Expected Playing 11

Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma (WK), Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah

AUS vs IND Toss Prediction

The team winning the toss will likely opt to field first.

Pitch Report and Weather Conditions

We are expecting a balanced pitch for this match. The quicker bowlers will get a good amount of pace, and bounce early in the innings and the batsmen need to be cautious against them. The average first-inning score here is around 150. Things get better for the batsmen as the innings progress.

The weather will remain mostly clear with temperatures around 20 degrees.

AUS vs IND: Who Will Win?

Both teams have performed well in patches in this series, and we expect a close contest between them. However, we believe that India has an edge here, as Australia is missing some of its key players in this match, while India is fielding a full-strength squad.

Bet on India to win.

Pro Tip: Wickets have fallen in the powerplay in both matches so far and that is something that could continue to happen. Teams are going hard from the start and less worried about losing a few wickets. This is something you can capitalize on by betting accordingly.
