SLK vs BR Betting Tips
Johnson Charles to score Over 23.5 runs
Johnson Charles has been in good form this year and has scored at least 47 runs in each of his two outings. He is the leading run-scorer in the history of CPL and has an excellent record against Barbados, averaging over 28 runs in 18 innings. His knocks include 4 half-centuries. Seeing his good form, we are backing him to play a good knock here.
Highest opening partnership Saint Lucia Kings
Saint Lucia Kings are likely to open their batting with Tim Seifert and Johnson Charles. Both of them are known for their aggressive batting and have given the team a decent start in the two matches played so far. On the other hand, the form of Barbados’ openers, especially Brandon King, hasn’t been the best. We are therefore expecting Saint Lucia to get a better start in this match.

SLK vs BR Team Previews
Saint Lucia Kings
After their first match was washed out due to rain, Saint Lucia Kings made a winning start to their campaign by defeating St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in a high-scoring thriller earlier this week. However, they are coming into this contest on the back of a loss against the Trinbago Knight Riders.
Saint Lucia has a strong opening pair in the form of Johnson Charles and Tim Seifert. Charles scored an excellent half-century earlier in the series and looks in good form. The middle order has plenty of experienced batsmen, including Ackeem Auguste and Tim David, as well as all-rounders like Roston Chase, David Weise, and Delano Potgieter.
Roston has been brilliant with the bat and the ball as he has scored a half-century and has also picked up 3 wickets so far. He will be joined by Tabraiz Shamsi and Khary Pierre in the spin department.
The pace attack consists of Oshane Thomas, Keon Gaston, and David Weise, and looks pretty balanced as well. Alzarri Joseph picked up a niggle, and details regarding his availability are awaited.
Saint Lucia Kings Expected Playing 11
Johnson Charles, Tim Seifert (WK), Roston Chase, Ackeem Auguste, Tim David, Delano Potgieter, David Weise (C), Oshane Thomas, Keon Gaston, Tabraiz Shamsi, Khary Pierre

Barbados Royals
The Barbados Royals have lost both their matches so far and are languishing at the bottom of the points table. While these are early days in the tournament, the team will hope to turn things around sooner rather than later.
Barbados boasts of a strong batting line-up that will be led by Brandon King and Quinton de Kock. While de Kock has done a decent job so far, Brandon King’s poor form in T20s has been a bit of a concern for the team. Barbados desperately needs him to get some runs under his belt.
The middle order consists of Rovman Powell and Kofi James, while all-rounders, including Sherfane Rutherford, Kadeem Allyene, and Daniel Sams, add depth to the batting. Barring Powell, none of the batsmen have managed to impress thus far.
Coming to the bowling, Ramon Simmonds and Daniel Sams are likely to begin with the new ball. The duo has picked up 3 wickets each, but have been expensive at times. Jomel Warrican and Mujeeb Ur-Rahman are likely to feature in the spin department. They have picked up 3 wickets between them.
Barbados Royals Expected Playing 11
Quinton de Kock (WK), Brandon King, Rovman Powell (C), Kadeem Allyene, Kofi James, Sherfane Rutherford, Daniel Sams, Nyeem Young, Ramon Simmonds, Eathan Bosch, Jomel Warrican
SLK vs BR Toss Prediction
It has been an even split between teams batting first and those batting second in the last 10 matches. In 9 of those games, the team winning the toss opted to field first. However, we feel that batting first might be the way to go in this match.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
The pitch at Saint Lucia is quite hard and flat, offering good pace and bounce. There is a good amount of pace and bounce, and the batsmen will enjoy playing their shots. The surface slows down a bit in the second half, and the bowlers who vary their pace and toss the ball can expect some turn. Anything over 180 will be difficult to chase.
The weather is expected to remain cloudy, with some drizzle possible during the evening.
SLK vs BR: Who Will Win?
Both teams are yet to reach their peak form and will be desperate for a win here. While we are expecting a close contest, we feel that the Saint Lucia Kings have a slight edge here thanks to a stronger batting unit and a well-balanced bowling attack.
Bet on the Saint Lucia Kings to win.
SLK vs BR win percentage stands at 54% in favor of SLK.
