Tamim Iqbal is a steady head at the top. He showed his class against Durbar Rajshahi with an unbeaten 86 runs off 48 balls. Najmul Hossain Shanto brings consistency and is another left-handed batter who can hold the innings together.

Towhid Hridoy is a rising young superstar who will play without fear. He already has a T20 century at only 24 years of age.

The inclusion of Kyle Mayers offers versatility with his explosive boundary-hitting and option as an opening bowler who can find seam movement early on. The West Indian has more than 250 runs and more than ten wickets in his BPL career.

The experienced Mushfiqur Rahim is a reliable wicketkeeper-batter. Rahim hit an important 34 runs not out against Durbar Rajshahi. Mahmudullah provides experience in the finishing role. All-rounders Faheem Ashraf and Rishad Hossain give the batting lineup further freedom to play their shots because of how they strengthen a long batting lineup.

He will be complemented by the consistency of local players Saif Hassan and Azizul Hakim.

Saif Hassan was another batter who impressed against Sylhet with an important 80 runs.

The middle-order features boundary-hitters like Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah. The Pakistani duo are proven finishers with the ability to absorb pressure and counter-attack when required. Captain and wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan will be required for his work with the gloves and batting power to give the team a flurry of runs at the back end.
