Anamul Haque will play a pivotal role both as captain and top-order batter. The Rajshahi skipper has a high score of 105 in T20s. The batting unit is strengthened by explosive talents like Mohammad Haris.

The young Pakistani batter has over 2000 T20 runs. Jishan Alam is the other opening batter. He was second on the run-scoring charts in the Bangladesh National Cricket League T20 2024. Yasir Ali is a clever enough batter to know when to accelerate and when to work the ball around.

Zimbabwean all-rounder Ryan Burl brings much-needed versatility with his power-hitting and leg-spin bowling.

At the top of the order is the aggressive English Jason Roy who will look to provide fiery starts. The Englishman has over 7000 T20 runs. Partnering him is Bangladesh’s rising star Tanzid Hasan with flair and consistency. The youngster hit an impressive half-century against the Chittagong Kings.

The versatile Stephen Eskinazi will serve as the wicketkeeper and anchor the middle order following the openers.

In the middle order, Shahadat Hossain and Sabbir Rahman offer power-hitting options. Both middle-order batters are capable of shifting gears when needed. Sabbir Rahman came out in full force against Chittagong with 82 runs off 33 balls not out.

Young Shahadat Hossain has over 200 BPL runs. Captain Thisara Perera brings invaluable experience with his hard-hitting abilities and leadership skills. Farmanullah adds further depth with his all-round abilities. The experienced Mosaddek Hossain is another who adds balance with his all-round contributions.

The bowling attack is led by the ever-reliable Mustafizur Rahman. His left-arm angle makes him difficult to face as a right-hander. He took a wicket against Chittagong Kings. Mukidul Islam and Nazmul Islam provide strong pace and spin options respectively. Young Mukidul Islam has best bowling figures in T20 cricket of five for 23.
