The pitch at Kingstown is good to bat on, especially when the ball is hard. The previous game saw 2 overs where 20 or more runs were scored and we expect the pattern to continue.
Das has struggled in this tour and hasn’t made it to double-digits in any of his limited-over innings. His recent 20 performance isn’t inspiring as well and has scored 18 or more runs only twice in his last 10 outings.
Having lost the 1st match, the West Indies will look to bounce back and even the 3-match series as it faces Bangladesh for the 2nd game on Tuesday. It will be played at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown.
The two teams have faced each other in 17 matches to date. West Indies won 9 while Bangladesh won 6. Two games ended without any result.

After making a clean sweep in the ODI series, most fans expected the hosts to make a winning start in the shortest format as well. However, that was not to be as the team faltered in all departments and will now be out to keep the tournament alive.
The West Indies have a pretty strong batting unit that has specialist T20 batsmen like Nicholas Pooran and Andre Fletcher. The team will also use Brandon King and Johnson Charles at the top of the order. The duo was unable to give the team a strong start on Sunday and will to hope turn things around.
The middle order consists of all-rounders like Gudakesh Motie and Roston Chase. Rovman Powell played a brilliant knock of 60 runs in the previous game and looks in fine touch. The seam attack will be led by Alzarri Joseph and Obed McCoy, with Romario Shepherd joining them in the middle overs
The hosts have two excellent spinners in the form of Akeal Hosein and Gudakesh Motie who can make a big difference during the middle overs.
After a disappointing performance during the ODIs, Bangladesh bounced back in style to secure an early advantage and will hope to continue with the same momentum.
The bowlers bowled incredibly well on what seemed to be a good batting track and will once again hold the key for the visitors. The spin department, led by Mahedi Hasan, bowled beautifully to keep the opposition under check.
Hasan picked up 4 wickets for just 13 runs to earn his best figures in T20I and received good support from Rishad Hossain. The seamers did well too, and Hasan Mahmud, Taskin Ahmed, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib are expected to retain their place in the XI.
Litton Das’ horror run on this tour continues as he was dismissed for a duck. The top order, barring Soumya Sarkar, struggled on Sunday and will need to play better here. The all-rounders including Shamim Hossain batted well and will once again play the role of a finisher.
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bowl first.
The pitch at the Arnos Vale Ground is likely to be on the dry side. The ball holds a bit after bouncing and the batsmen will have to keep their eyes on the ball. The spinners will get plenty of help here and the quicker bowlers who vary their pace will also be rewarded. A score of around 160 is a par score here.
The weather will be cloudy with temperatures of around 25 and 30 degrees.
West Indies wasn’t in the best of forms in the previous match but we expect them to come back fighting to save the series. Bangladesh was excellent as well and we expect a cracking contest. The fact that Bangladesh won the previous match helps you get better odds on the West Indies in this match. With a stronger batting lineup, more power hitters, and home advantage, we expect the West Indies to even the series.
