Keacy Carty has consistently performed in the ODIs and has an average of close to 42.00 in 28 games. Carty has scored at least 26 runs in 6 of his last 9 innings, including 3 half-centuries and a century. We reckon he will once again bat well.
The West Indies are expected to start their batting with Evin Lewis and Brandon King. The duo has scored an aggregate of 203 runs at an average of 50.75 and at least 28 runs as a pair in 3 of their 4 outings together. We are therefore expecting them to give the hosts a good start.
After playing an exciting Test series, the West Indies and Bangladesh continue their rivalry in the white-ball format as well. The two teams will play a 3-match ODI series starting this Sunday. The first game will be played at Warner Park in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
The two teams have faced each other in 44 matches to date with both teams winning 21 games each. Two matches ended without any result.

The West Indies squandered away an early advantage in the red-ball format and allowed the visitors to level the series. They will now shed the disappointment and bounce back before the start of this match.
The West Indies is coming into this contest on the back of a 2-1 win over England and should have some amount of confidence. While the 15-member squad is more or less on expected lines, there are a couple of interesting selections.
The first one is that of Amir Jangoo, who has been rewarded for an excellent batting performance in the Super50 tournament. Justin Greaves is back in the ODI mix after 9 months, thanks to a brilliant century in the first Test match. Brandon King and Evin Lewis might continue in the opening slot while Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmeyer, Keacy Carty, and Sherfane Rutherford bolster the middle order.
Matthew Forde, Shamar Joseph, Alzarri Joseph, and Jayden Seales are the frontline seamers in the squad while Gudakesh Motie will likely be the specialist spinner.
The visitors put up an incredible performance in the second Test match to score a historic win and level the series. They hope to continue with the good work and play well in the white-ball format as well.
The Bangladesh team has been plagued by injuries and unavailability of players and that has left the 15-member ODI squad without some of its key players. As the regular skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto is still recovering from his groin strain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead the team for the entire series.
Similarly, Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim are also nursing injuries and will skip this match. Shakib Al-Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman missed out due to personal reasons. This could mean that Tanzid Hasan will open the batting alongside Soumya Sarkar, with Litton Das, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Afif Hossain coming in lower down.
The visitors have plenty of bench strength when it comes to pace, as Shoriful Isalm, Nahida Rana, Tanzim Hasan Saqib, Hasan Mahmud, and Taskin Ahmed are all available for selection. The spin department consists of Rishad Hossain and Nasum Ahmed.
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bat first.
The pitch at Warner Park is usually good to bat on. The surface is flat and hard, and the ball comes onto the bat early on in the game. The quicker bowlers need to be disciplined with their line and length as any loose deliveries will be punished.
The team batting first will look to score at least 300 runs here. During the second half, the pitch slows down a bit and there will be help for the spinners.
The weather in Basseterre will be warm and humid with temperatures of around 27 degrees.
While Bangladesh has historically played well against the West Indies, they are not playing with a full-strength squad and some of their potential matchwinners are missing. The West Indies have struggled in the ODI format but looking at their squad, we think they have some promising players that could deliver. The odds are worth the risk to take a punt on the home team.
Bet on West Indies to win.
