Bangladesh

Bangladesh's batting has not been great but it has been enough in this series. They have players like Mohammad Naim, Parvez Hossain Enon, and LItton Das in their top order. This gives them some solid firepower but we have seen way too many times in the past that Bangladeshi batting is extremely brittle.

Perhaps what has changed is that there is some more resistance in the middle. Towhid Hridoy provides dependable batting talent that keeps rising. He has already made his way to 900 T20I runs. Jaker Ali and Shamim Hossain also inject depth and innovation lower down.

Jaker Ali was the best bat on show for Bangladesh in the penultimate T20I of the series. He scored a half-century at a strike rate of more than 100. Hossain has over 400 runs for Bangladesh in T20Is.

Mahedi Hasan has recently grabbed headlines and cemented his role as a decisive match-turner. His maturity showed with 33 runs off 25 balls against Pakistan in the second T20I. Hasan offered Jaker Ali support in a half-century fifth wicket stand.

Mustafizur Rahman is the linchpin with his death-over prowess. He showed his ability to manage a game with one for 15 in just under four overs in his previous match. Shoriful Islam, returning in place of Taskin Ahmed, adds another left-arm seam option to the bowling attack. He made an immediate impact with three for 17 in the last game.

This is where Bangladesh is most dangerous and will look to win the match.

The leg-spin threat comes from Rishad Hossain with his knack for breakthroughs.

Pakistan

Pakistan's batting has been in disarray. They have shown an inability to adapt and seem to be following a set plan rather than seeing what is on offer. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub have enough experience at their disposal to make better choices.

There is no doubting their talent but in current form and confidence, they look like walking wickets.

Mohammad Haris is a hit and miss at the best of times. He can change the game very quickly or will lose his wicket trying. Skipper Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah will have to take more responsibility and score the bulk of the runs.

There is depth in the Pakistani lineup with Faheem Ashraf in there as well. The problem has been in trying to find the right tempo and to not lose wickets in clumps. The lineup will be under tremendous pressure going into this last match and can make mistakes.

Ahmed Daniyal brings fresh energy as a fast bowler entrusted by the selectors after making his T20I debut in the previous T20I. He drew attention with two for 23 on T20I debut. Salman Mirza has delivered in his debut T20I series and animating the attack with menace. The left-armer took two for 17 with a maiden in four overs of the second T20I.

Abbas Afridi is a lower-order power-hitter and seam bowler who’s already shown a knack for the big stage. The right-arm pacer was another to join the club of bowlers with two wickets in the previous T20I.

We know Pakistan's bowling is always dependable but at this stage, this is looking short of being world class as well.
