NZ-W vs AUS-W Betting Tips

Total fours for Australia Women: Over 16.5

We saw 19 fours being hit by Australia Women in the oppening match. With most of their batters in great form, that boundary hitting spree could continue.

Highest Individual Score: Over 60.5

Beth Mooney top scored with 75 in the previous match. We think this bet has a great chance of coming through if Australia Women bat first. Worth the risk.

Australia Women won the first match against New Zealand Women with ease. They will now be looking for a series win as they travel to Mount Maunganui for their second match. The weather is expected to be flawless for match day and we are looking forward to another keenly contested match.

The two teams have faced each other in 53 matches to date. Australia won 30 games while New Zealand won 21. One match ended without any result while one was a tie.

NZ-W vs AUS-W Team Previews

New Zealand Women

Amelia Kerr and Sophie Devine played well in the first match but eventually, the total that New Zealand Women managed to reach was insufficient. We know that New Zealand is an excellent team that will recognize it needs to do more and come out with more intent in this next match.

Maybe promoting Sophie Devine up the order is an option that they will consider.

The pressure is going to be on Kerr once again to score the runs and she is the player in form. The bigger test, though, is going to be for the New Zealand Women bowling attack to come back after the thrashing it received in the previous match.

New Zealand Women Expected Playing 11

Suzie Bates (C), Georgia Plimmer, Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr, Brooke Halliday, Polly Inglis (WK), Lea Tahuhu, Jess Kerr, Rosemary Mair, Eden Carson, Fran Jonas

Australia Women

Australia Women barely broke into a sweat as they defeated New Zealand Women in the opening match of this series. We almost think they could bat with an upside down order and still end up winning. There is no question that Australia's Women's cricket team is one of the most dominant teams in all of sport and they are continuing that legacy.

The batting is absolutely stacked with the likes of Beth Mooney, Georgia Voll, Elyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner and more. Each of one of these players is a match winner and used to playing pivotal innings in the WBBL.

Unless there is a catastrophic collapse, we don't see this batting lineup come under any sort of threat.

The bowling is also quite experienced with Schutt, Gardner, Sutherland, and Brown playing a central role. The flat nature of the surface saw Australia struggle for wickets but on the bigger Bay Oval outfield, we think they could be in for more success.

Australia Women Expected Playing 11

Georgia Voll, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath (C), Ashleigh Gardner, Ellyse Perry, Annabel Sutherland, Georgia Wareham, Beth Mooney (WK), Alana King, Megan Schutt, Kim Garth

NZ-W vs AUS-W Toss Prediction

The team that wins the toss is likely to want to bat first. Runs on the board is always good to build pressure.

Pitch and Conditions

Bay Oval, Maunganui is an excellent venue for T20 cricket. The pitch is flat and allows the ball to come on nicely. The average score fo women's T20's is 140, which is quite good. If Australia bats first, we think they will end up scoring more than that for sure.

There is no rain predicted and we should have bright sunshine for the duration of the match.

NZ-W vs AUS-W: Who Will Win?

Australia Women are the overwhelming favorites to win and we think they are unlikely to be tripped up. The odds may not be great but we think you should take whatever you can get by betting on Australia Women. There is no sure thing in cricket but this is as close to you can get to one.

NZ-W vs AUS-W win percentage stands firmly in favor of Australia Women at almost 90%.

Bet on Australia Women to win.
