Pathum Nissanka to score Over 21.5 runs
Pathum Nissanka is the leading run-scorer for Sri Lanka in this series and has scored at least 22 runs in 3 of the 4 matches played, including two half-centuries. He has also scored three half-centuries in his last 4 innings at this venue. We are therefore backing him to play a good knock.
Sri Lanka total runs before fall of 1st wicket - Over 21.5
Pathum Nissanka and and Kusal Mendis have been pretty consistent for Sri Lanka at the top of the order. They have scored at least 22 runs as a pair in 4 of their last 5 outings. We reckon that they will give Sri Lanka a good start in this match.

PAK vs SL Team Previews
Pakistan
Pakistan was, for the second time in this tournament, outclassed by India as they lost the Super Four fixture on Sunday. The loss also left a dent in their NRR, which could well be a deciding factor for a place in the finals.
However, there are a few positives that the team will take from that match. Sahibzada Farhan scored an excellent half-century to get the team to a respectable total, while Saim Ayub, who had three consecutive ducks before that match, scored 21 runs.
The top order, at this stage, looks settled with Ayub, Farhan, and Fakhar Zaman occupying the top three places. However, the middle order could be a potential problem for Pakistan. The likes of Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, and Salman Agha were unable to capitalize on the strong start.
Pakistan needs them to score boundaries at regular intervals to keep the scoreboard moving.
The bowling from Pakistan was pretty lackluster on Sunday. Saim Ayub, who is the team’s leading wicket-taker in this tournament, went wicketless, and so did Shaheen Shah Afridi. They were both pretty expensive as well, going at over 10 runs per over.
Haris Rauf has bowled well in the last two games, picking up two wickets in each. He will retain his place in the pace department. Abrar Ahmed and Faheem Ashraf will round out the bowling attack.
Pakistan Expected Playing 11
Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Salman Agha (C), Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Haris (WK), Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Hussain Talat

Sri Lanka
After remaining undefeated in the group stages, Sri Lanka was handed its first loss of the tournament on Saturday by Bangladesh, who defeated them by 4 wickets. Given the nature of the tournament, there is very little margin for error for Sri Lanka, and they will hope to bounce back here.
Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis have been pretty solid at the top of the order. Nissanka has been in particularly good form as he has scored two half-centuries and is the leading run-scorer for Sri Lanka. The middle order has plenty of experience in Dasun Shanaka, Charith Asalanka, and Kusal Perera, as well as talented youngsters like Kamil Mishara and Dunith Wellalage.
However, they have been a bit inconsistent with the bat. Shanaka did score a half-century in the previous match and will look to do the same here. Talking about the bowling, Sri Lanka boasts of a strong seam department that is led by Dushmantha Chameera and Nuwan Thushara.
The duo has picked up 11 wickets between them. They have received good support from Dasun Shanaka. Wanindu Hasaranga is the team’s best slower bowler with 5 wickets and has been very economical as well.
Sri Lanka Expected Playing 11
Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (WK), Kusal Perera, Charith Asalanka (C), Kamil Mishara, Dunith Wellalage, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Nuwan Thushara, Kamindu Mendis
PAK vs SL Toss Prediction
4 of the seven matches played here in this tournament were won while batting first. Also, in 4 of those games, the captain winning the toss opted to bat first. We expect that trend to continue.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
The batting conditions in Abu Dhabi are better compared to Dubai. There is some grass covering the surface but is likely to be dry underneath. There is a good amount of pace and bounce, especially when the ball is new.
We can expect plenty of runs during the Powerplay. The team batting first will look to score at least 180-185 runs to give the bowlers a chance.
The weather is likely to remain overcast with temperatures around 34 degrees. There will be some dew on the ground during the second half.
PAK vs SL: Who Will Win?
We feel that Sri Lanka has an edge here as their top order has been in good touch. Also, the Sri Lankan bowlers have fared better in comparison to Pakistan’s. With a fantastic recent head-to-head in their favor, Sri Lanka is excellent value and well worth taking a punt on.
Bet on Sri Lanka to win.
PAK vs SL win percentage stands at 59% in favor of PAK.
Todays Match Prediction: Sri Lanka to Win.
