PAK vs OMA Betting Tips
Jatinder Singh to score Over 14.5 runs
Jatinder Singh is the most prolific scorer for Oman this year, having scored 2 half-centuries in his last 3 innings. He is the most experienced batsman in the Oman team, and we are backing him to play well here.
Pakistan total runs before fall of 1st wicket Over 24.5
Pakistan is likely to open with Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan in this match. They have an average of over 31 runs as a pair in 11 matches and have scored at least 25 runs in 5 of the last 9 matches, including a century-stand and a half-century stand. Pakistan will look to make a positive start to their Asia Cup campaign as they take on Oman this Friday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. They come into this match on the back of a tri-series win at Sharjah. Oman, on the other hand, is playing the Asia Cup for the first time and will probably be happy to just put up a fight.

PAK vs OMA Team Previews
Pakistan
Arguably the second-strongest team in this tournament, Pakistan finds itself in the same group as the defending champions India, Oman, and the UAE. As they take on Oman for their first match, the Men in Green will look to score a massive win.
Pakistan is playing with the same 17 member squad that won the one off tri-series last week. While the absence of two of the most experienced players of the country, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, does leave a void in the middle order, Pakistan has plenty of talented youngsters who can play a pivotal role. Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub are likely to open the batting for Pakistan in this match.
The middle order consists of Fakhar Zaman, Salman Agha, Hasan Nawaz, and Mohammad Haris, while the all-rounders Mohammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf add depth to the batting. Zaman, who was suffering from an injury earlier this year, was Pakistan’s best batsman in the Tri-series and will once again be the key batsman for them. Pakistan boasts of a well-rounded bowling unit that can win the game for them.
Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf will lead the attack with the new ball. They also have two quality spinners in the form of Sufiyan Muqeem and Abrar Ahmed in the squad.
Pakistan Expected Playing 11
Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Agha (C), Mohammad Haris (WK), Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Abrar Ahmed, Hasan Nawaz

Oman
After a series of unsuccessful attempts over the past decade, Oman finally managed to earn its first entry in the Asia Cup this year by finishing second during the ACC Men’s Premier Cup. While not many expect them to win, this will be a great learning experience for the young side.
There are quite a few changes to the squad from the one that featured in the Premier Cup, thanks to a long-standing pay dispute between the board and the players. While things have been resolved, some of the seniors are likely to miss this tournament.
As a result, Oman has included as many as 4 uncapped players, including Zikria Islam, Sufyan Yousuf, Naseem Khan, and Faisal Shah. Skipper Jatinder Singh will be the key player for Oman as he is the most experienced among the lot. He will likely open the batting along with Aamir Kaleem.
Hammad Mirza, Mohammad Nadeem, and Ashish Odedra are likely to feature in the middle order. Talking about the bowling, Oman has included plenty of slower bowlers in the squad, including Aryan Bisht, Shakeel Ahmed, and Samay Shrivastava. Mohammad Imran will lead the pace attack.
Oman Expected Playing 11
Jatinder Singh (C), Hammad Mirza, Aamir Kaleem, Vinayak Shukla (WK), Zikria Islam, Mohammad Nadeem, Sufyan Mehmood, Aryan Bisht, Shakeel Ahmed, Hassnain Shah, Samay Shrivastava
PAK vs OMA Toss Prediction
8 of the last 10 matches played at the Dubai Stadium were won while batting first. We, therefore, feel that batting first will be the way to go after winning the toss.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
The pitch is likely to be balanced, and we can expect a good contest between the bat and the ball. The surface is on the drier side with some green patches. The average first-inning score here is around 150, but a score of around 170-180 can be considered a par score. The spinners can expect some help once the ball gets older.
The weather is expected to remain clear with temperatures around 34 degrees.
PAK vs OMA: Who Will Win?
We are backing Pakistan to win this match. They are a stronger side in all aspects of the game. Oman lacks the experience of playing against Test-playing nations and will struggle to make an impact.
Bet on Pakistan to win.
PAK vs OMA win percentage stands at 94% in favor of PAK.
Todays Match Prediction: Pakistan to Win.
