South Africa will take on Zimbabwe on Sunday in what is expected to be another one-sided encounter in the ongoing Tri-series. Zimbabwe has lost both its matches so far and is on the verge of getting knocked out of the race to the finals.
South Africa has faced its own woes. Playing without its senior players, the Proteas have a good chance of honing fresh talent. However, the newcomers haven’t delivered in the way they were expected. Nevertheless, this is a good opportunity for the likes of Lhuan-dre Pretorius to prove their mettle on the international stage.

There are no reports of injuries from either side.
We are expecting another dry surface for this match. There has been plenty of sunshine and no rain in Harare, and the grass is almost non-existent. The surface is likely to be firm and hard early on, but the soil will get loose as the match progresses. The average first-inning score here in this series has been around 155, and anything over 170 could be tricky to chase.
The weather will remain pleasant with no chance of rain.
Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Rubin Hermann are the two top picks. While Lhuan-dre Pretorius has failed to live up to his hype, Hermann has appeared pretty solid.
Brian Bennett got a decent start in the previous game and made it to our team. Dewald Brevis is the leading run-scorer for South Africa. We are also selecting Reeza Hendricks.
Sikandar Raza is Zimbabwe’s best player and a natural choice. We are also selecting George Linde and Ryan Burl.
Since all three all-rounders on our team are spinners, we are picking up three seamers here. Lungi Ngidi, Gerald Coetzee, and Richard Ngarava.
George Linde is our choice as the captain of the team. He is South Africa’s leading wicket-taker in this series and is also a dependable batsman lower down the order.
Sikandar Raza is one of the best all-rounders that Zimbabwe has produced in recent years. He has done a decent job with the bat and can also spin the ball quite a bit.
We have tried to pick a balanced playing XI for this match. The conditions in Harare haven’t been the best for the batsmen, and we have therefore selected some experienced ones who can adapt well. Our bowling unit is a balanced mix of spinners and seamers as they are both likely to get equal opportunities here.
Ryan Burl has 347 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 69 points per game.
Dewald Brevis (76), Sikandar Raza (66), Brian Bennett (51)
George Linde (3), Richard Ngarava (3), Lungi Ngidi (2)
Dewald Brevis (8), George Linde (2), Sikandar Raza (2)
Dewald Brevis (217.14), George Linde (143.47), Ryan Burl (141.37)
Senuran Muthusamy (4.75), George Linde (5.75), Lungi Ngidi (6.14)
