New Zealand will look to extend its unbeaten run in the ongoing Tri-series in Zimbabwe as it plays its last group-stage match before the finals on Saturday. The team has enjoyed an excellent run in the shortest format, winning 7 of their last 8 matches. Despite resting some of the senior players, the squad has done an excellent job so far.
Zimbabwe hasn’t been in the best of form and has already been eliminated from the series. It will now look for a consolation win here and to also gain some confidence ahead of its Test series against New Zealand. While the team does have some experienced players, they will need to perform better as a unit.

There are no reports of injuries from either side
We are expecting a balanced surface for this match. The pitch is a bit tricky with a mix of dry and green patches, providing assistance to the seamers as well as the spinners. The batsmen need to be careful while selecting their shots and will have to wait for the right deliveries to score boundaries.
The weather is expected to remain pleasant with temperatures under 20 degrees and clear skies.
Devon Conway and Tim Seifert have both played well, and we are selecting both of them for our team.
Brian Bennett has been Zimbabwe’s best batsman and is the top choice here. We are also going with Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell.
Mitchell Santner is among the best all-rounders in the series and is the obvious choice. We are also bringing in Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl.
Since all three all-rounders we have selected are spinners, we have opted for three seamers here: Jacob Duffy, Richard Ngarava, and Adam Milne.
Mitchell Santner is one of the best all-rounders in the T20 format as of now and has done a decent job with the bat and the ball so far. We are therefore selecting him as the captain of our team.
Brian Bennett has batted consistently well for Zimbabwe in this series. He has plenty of experience playing at this venue and could yet again play an important knock.
None of the 5 matches played on this ground during this series has been a high-scoring game. We have therefore selected a balanced side that has equal weightage given to the batsmen and the bowlers. The quicker bowlers and the spinners have enjoyed equal success here, and our bowling unit reflects that balance.
Adam Milne has scored 468 points in the last 5 matches at an average of 93 points per game.
Brian Bennett (112), Tim Seifert (91), Devon Conway (87)
