The South Africa Women's bilateral white-ball cricket tour of the West Indies began yesterday in Barbados. The West Indies women won the first contest by four wickets. However, they were lucky to get a smaller target due to the rain interruption.
The overt dependence of the West Indies batting line-up on its opening batters, Joseph and Matthews, will remain a headache for the Caribbean management. If they are dismissed early, the middle order will be exposed to the better South African bowling attack.

There are no reports of any injuries from either side currently. All the team members are expected to be available for selection on June 14th.
The pitch on offer at the Three Ws Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, will assist the batters and bowlers. The track is firm, offering good bounce and carry to the quicks. This is also helpful to the stroke players as they can play through the line that way. There is a distinct possibility of getting showers during this encounter. The temperature during the encounter will remain close to 28 degrees.
Due to her valuable contributions with the bat, we recommend Shemaine Campbelle for the wicketkeeper position in this encounter.
The top batters for this game are likely to be Laura Wolvaardt, Tazmin Brits, Stephanie Taylor, Qiana Joseph, and Sune Luus.
Even though there are several good all-rounders on both teams, Hayley Matthews remains the best of the lot. Marizanne Kapp had a quiet first game and might return to good form in this encounter. There are some other contenders for these slots, such as Nadine de Klerk, Chinelle Henry, Chloe Tryon, and Aaliya Alleyne.
Several bowlers, such as Afy Fletcher, Ayanda Hlubi, and Karishma Ramharack, have done well in the bowling department in their last encounter. Some other good alternatives are Ayabonga Khaka and Nonkululeko Mlaba.
We recommend that the West Indies all-rounder and captain Hayley Matthews lead the fantasy team for this contest. She is an excellent all-rounder and has led the Windies Women to several wins.
Due to her performance in the last game with the bat, where she scored a useful half-century, we recommend Tazmin Brits for vice-captain.
Hayley Matthews is back on the Windies team and immediately laid a foundation for a successful run chase with Qiana Joseph. Another return to the team in the form of Marizanne Kapp for South Africa Women did not prove to be too effective. West Indies Women were lucky with the rain interruption in the first contest. However, South African Women have a better all-around team and are likely to stage a comeback in this series. We will bet on South African Women winning this contest and levelling the series.
Ayanda Hlubi, with her three-fer in the first game of the tour, leads the fantasy points tally with 91 points. Hayley Matthews and Qiana Joseph follow her with 83 and 82 points, respectively.
Qiana Joseph leads the most runs table with 60 runs, followed by Tanzim Brits with 57 runs and Nadine de Klerk with 42 runs.
Ayanda Hlubi leads the wickets tally for the series with three victims, while Aaliyah Alleyne and Karishma Ramharack each have two victims.
Nadine de Klerk leads the series in sixes with two big blows in the first encounter. Several other hitters, such as Qiana Joseph, Hayley Matthews, and Tanzim Brits, have hit a single six.
Nadine de Klerk currently has the best strike rate of 110.53. She is followed by Chinelle Henry, who has 110, and Qiana Joseph, who has 103.45.
Nonkululeko Mlaba was the most economical bowler in the last game with an economy rate of 3.67, followed by Chloe Tryon with 3.86, and Afy Fletcher with 4.10.
