Washington Freedom
San Francisco Unicorns
It’s time for one of the most exciting contests in Major League Cricket as two of the strongest teams face each other in a top-of-the-table clash. The San Francisco Unicorns have already qualified for the next stage. They have been relentless in their performance, excelling with both, the bat and the ball. They will now aim for a top-two finish.
On the other side is Washington Freedom. They too are on a 5-match winning streak and will be feeling confident as they take on the table toppers. If Washington wins here, they will be the second team to reach the playoffs.

There are no reports of injuries from either side
We are expecting another good batting surface for this game. The batsmen have enjoyed the predictable bounce, that allows them to play their shots with ease. The surface is hard and a bit dry and the bowlers have very little margin for error.
Since this is an afternoon game, there will be plenty of sunshine with temperatures around 34-35 degrees. There might be some stray clouds but there is no forecast for rain.
Finn Allen hasn’t been in the best form in the last couple of games but he remains the leading run-scorer of the tournament and is a natural choice.
Glenn Maxwell and Jake Fraser-McGurk have both played some explosive knocks and are the top picks in this category.
Both teams have some excellent all-rounders and we are spoilt for choice. Our top picks include Mitchell Owen, Matthew Short, Romario Shepherd, Jack Edwards, and Ian Holland.
Haris Rauf is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament and made it to our team. We are also selecting Xavier Bartlett.
Mitchell Owen is our choice as the skipper of the team. He is the leading run-scorer for Washington and is also among their highest wicket-takers.
We are going with Matthew Short here. He has scored a half-century in each of his 3 innings and has also proved to be a reliable bowler.
Since we are expecting a good batting surface, we have selected only two bowlers. Both of them are seamers as the spinners have had limited success. There are plenty of all-rounders in our playing XI and they have the ability to earn points throughout the match.
Mitchell Owen has 845 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 169 points per game.
