The Texas Super Kings have started their campaign in style. They have won two matches on the bounce and find themselves in second place on the points table. Powered by Devon Conway, the Super Kings’ strong batting line-up has delivered well and they will hope to continue doing the same going ahead.
The Seattle Orcas weren’t in the best of forms last year as they finished 6th on the table. Their poor form seems to have spilled over to the current season as well because they lost their opening fixture to Washington Freedom.

There are no reports of injuries from either side.
The pitch at the Oakland Coliseum has thrown up a couple of batting-friendly wickets so far. The average first-inning score here is around 180. That said, the bowlers, especially the seamers who bowl a disciplined line and length will be rewarded. Also, taking the pace off might be a good option. Anything full will be punished severely.
The weather is expected to be clear with temperatures around 15 degrees.
Devon Conway is in good form this year and is the obvious choice. We are also picking Heinrich Klaasen as he has the ability to play the big shots.
There are some big names on both sides to choose from. David Warner, Faf du Plessis, and Saiteja Mukkamalla are the top picks here. We are also including Calvin Savage as he scored a half-century earlier in the season.
Daryl Mitchell has done a decent job with the bat and the ball and made it to our tea. We are also going with Kyle Mayers as he is one of the best all-rounders in the shortest format.
Adam Milne has bowled well and is the first choice when it comes to the seamers. Also, since both our all-rounders are quicker bowlers, we are selecting two spinners, Noor Ahmad and Waqar Salamkheil in this category.
Devon Conway has batted well in both matches and we are therefore selecting him as the captain of our team. He is also a sharp wicket-keeper which is a bonus.
We are going with Daryl Mitchell here. He is a quality all-rounder who can contribute throughout the game. He also has safe hands and has already grabbed 3 catches.
The Oakland Coliseum can be a tricky venue and one needs to select their team carefully. While the batsmen have enjoyed success in scoring runs, the bowlers too have excelled. We have therefore opted to go with a balanced team that has equal opportunity with bat and the ball. We have also selected a couple of solid all-rounders who bring balance to the team.
Noor Ahmad has 513 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 102 points per game.
Devon Conway (99), Calvin Savage (53), Daryl Mitchell (44)
