The first test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh ended in a draw. However, it was anything but a tame draw. The contest had its share of drama, and when the Bangladesh skipper declared the innings with 38 overs to go on the last day, he created a furore in the Sri Lankan camp as some early wickets went down.
The second test is anticipated to be more dramatic as Sri Lankans will no longer have the services of Angelo Mathews. Rain interruption is possible, which can alter the course of a contest. All in all, you can expect a keenly contested affair in this contest.

There are no injury updates available for now. So, the entire teams will be available for the second test.
The Sri Lankans have traditionally performed well at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground. In the last 38 test matches played at this venue, Lankans have won 18. Fourteen of these games ended in a draw or no result, while they lost six matches. There is a distinct possibility of rain interruption during this contest. These conditions will favor the seamers.
There are two good alternatives available for this position in the form of Kusal Mendis and Litton Das. We recommend Litton Das, who has slightly better batting capabilities.
Dinesh Chandimal, N Hossain Shanto, P Nissanka, and Mustafizur Rahim are the top alternatives for the batting slots.
M Hasan Miraz, Dhananjay De Silva, M Haque, and N Hasan are the top all-rounders in this contest.
The top bowlers for this contest include A Fernando, P Jayasuriya, T Islam, M Rathnayake, and H Mahmood.
We recommend P Nissanka for the captainship of this fantasy team due to his batting performances recently.
Najmul Hossain Shanto, with his back-to-back hundreds in the last game, will be our top choice for vice-captain.
The Bangladesh team did no harm to their confidence in the first test. They were in a better position than Sri Lanka on the last day of the test. But the Sri Lankans are playing at home and are better aware of the conditions. They also have a terrific record against Bangladesh in this format. Overall, we reckon Sri Lanka will be the favorite to win this test and take the series.
Najmul Hossain Shanto, with his two hundreds in the first test, leads the fantasy points tally with 666 points. Pathum Nissanka follows with 504 points and Mushfiqur Rahim with 474 points.
So far, Najmul Hossain Shanto has scored 273 runs, followed by Mushfiqur Rahim with 212 runs and Pathum Nissanka with 211 runs.
Nayeem Hasan has picked up the highest six wickets, the same as Tharindu Ratnayake. Asitha Fernando and Milan Ratnayake have each picked up four wickets.
Najmul Hossain Shanto has hit the maximum of four sixes, followed by Pathum Nissanka, Litton Das, Mominul Haque, and Kamindu Mendis, hitting one six each.
Taijul Islam has the best strike rate of 85.71, followed by Prabhat Jayasuriya with 84.62 and Lahiru Udara with 80.85.
Milan Rathnayake has bowled with the best economy rate of 1.82, followed by Kamindu Mendis with 2.00 and Nayeem Hassan with 2.66.
