The rivalry between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is at its crescendo as Bangladesh looks to win a historic bilateral series against their arch rivals. After losing the first match, Bangladesh made a strong comeback to level the 3-match series.
Sri Lanka will depend on its experienced batting line-up to deliver the goods in this match. Despite having some talented T20 batsmen, the team has often been unable to put up big totals. Bangladesh bowled brilliantly in the previous game to keep the series alive and will hope to do the same in this match as well.

There are no reports of injuries from either side.
The pitch at the Premadasa Stadium is usually balanced and we are expecting a similar surface for this match as well. It has been raining in Colombo and the surface is likely to be moist with some grass, aiding the seamers, especially when the ball is new. We are expecting overcast conditions with more rain here on Wednesday.
Kusal Mendis and Litton Das are our two choices here. Mendis scored a half-century in the first match while Das scored one in the previous game. Both seem to be in decent form.
Pathum Nissanka is our only pick in this category. He is one of Sri Lanka’s most experienced batsmen and could play a vital role in this game.
Both teams have plenty of all-rounders to choose from. Our picks include Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Charith Asalanka, Rishad Hossain, Dasun Shanaka, and Shamim Hossain.
Since the quicker bowlers are likely to get help here, we are going with Binura Fernando and Shoriful Islam. Maheesh Theekshana comes in as a specialist spinner.
We are going with Mehidy Hasan Miraz as the captain of our team. While he hasn’t been in the best of form, Miraz is one of the top all-rounders in the T20 format.
Kusal Mendis is the vice-captain of the team. He has plenty of experience playing at this venue and has a good record against Bangladesh.
The pitch here helps the bowlers and we have picked up quite a few of them. As there are some good all-rounders playing for both sides, we have been able to maintain a balance in the team. The seamers are likely to enjoy success and we therefore recommend selecting quite a few.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz has 467 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 93 points per game.
Litton Das (82), Kusal Mendis (81), Pathum Nissanka (74)
Rishad Hossain (4), Mohammad Saifuddin (3), Binura Fernando (3)
Litton Das (5), Pathum Nissanka (4), Shamim Hossain (4)
Shamim Hossain (193.75), Parvez Emon (152.00), Pathum Nissanka (164.44)
Shoriful Islam (4.00), Rishad Hossain (5.72), Mohammad Saifuddin (7.16)
