The tri-series in Zimbabwe has kicked off with South Africa getting an early lead. However, they now face a much tougher opponent in the form of New Zealand and will need to play better.
New Zealand has rested some of their key player ahead of this series. Also, some of the players selected for this series have been participating in the MLC and might not be available for this game. This gives the selectors a good opportunity to try out some fresh talent.

There are no reports of injuries from either side.
We are expecting a dry pitch for this match. The bowlers need to work hard here if they want to pick wickets. That said, the dry conditions also make it difficult for the batsmen to time the ball as the ball stops a bit after pitching. The surface is likely to play similarly throughout the match.
There is no forecast for rain and the weather is likely to remain clear with pleasant temperatures.
We are picking up Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Rubin Hermann, and Devon Conway in this category. Hermann played a brilliant knock in the previous match while Pretorius and Conway are both quality T20 batsmen.
Dewald Brevis is the top pick here. We are also selecting Rassie van der Dussen, Daryl Mitchell, and Reeza Hendricks thanks to their ability to play the big shots.
George Linde is the obvious choice. He is a quality all-rounder and bowled an excellent spell in the last match.
We are opting for 3 full-time seamers in Matt Henry, Lungi Ngidi, and Jacob Duffy. The new ball could help them pick wickets during the Powerplay.
We are going with George Linde as the captain of our team. A dependable bowler, Linde can also be a solid middle-order batsman who can strike the ball a long distance.
We are selecting Daryl Mitchell as the vice-captain of our team. Another good all-rounder, Mitchell has been one of New Zealand’s key players in recent times.
The pitch at Harare has been pretty balanced over the last few matches and we have therefore selected a side that has an equal measure of bowlers and batsmen. While we would have wanted to select at least one more all-rounder we have tried to pick a balanced playing XI that has a solid seam attack.
William O’Rourke has 508 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 101 points per game.
Rubin Hermann (191), Devon Conway (187), Rassie van der Dussen (157)
William O’Rourke (12), Mitchell Santner (11), Adam Milne (11)
