Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Kolkata Knight Riders
As the Indian Premier League resumes after a hiatus of 1 week, the stakes are even higher as we approach the end of the group stages. The Royal Challengers Bangalore have one foot in the playoffs, and if they win here, they will most certainly make it there.
The Kolkata Knight Riders face a must-win situation here because if they falter, there is no way they can qualify.

Josh Hazlewood is likely to miss the remaining matches due to an injury. The details regarding the availability of some overseas players like Jacob Bethell and Moeen Ali are also awaited.
Since it has been raining in Bangalore over the last week, we can expect a moist surface at the Chinnaswamy Stadium that will help the seamers early on in the match. Also, the surface has had time to rest, and the foot marks are likely to be gone. The batsmen will need to settle down before they can play the big shots.
There is a possibility of rain interrupting the game, and we may even have a shortened match.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is the top pick here as he has an excellent record in the T20 format. While he is yet to play a big knock this year, Gurbaz can easily play some big shots.
Both sides have some quality batsmen to choose from. Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, and Angkrish Raghuvanshi are our best choices. We are also picking up Tim David as he has played some good cameos.
All-rounders are the cornerstone of any team, and luckily, both teams have some good all-rounders. Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Krunal Pandya have all played well this year.
With Josh Hazlewood out of action, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar becomes the de facto choice in the seam department. We are also including Harshit Rana. Varun Chakravarthy comes in as a slower bowler.
We are going with Virat Kohli as the captain of our team. He has been brilliant with the bat and is among the leading run-scorers of the tournament.
Sunil Narine is the top choice as the vice-captain. He is an excellent all-rounder and can earn points with the bat and the ball.
As the pitch at the Chinnaswamy Stadium has seen plenty of runs in the last couple of matches, we were tempted to select a team laden with batsmen. Luckily for us, we have some good all-rounders to choose from as they balance the team well. As there is some moisture on the surface, we have selected a couple of seamers as well.
Virat Kohli has 485 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 97 points per game.
Virat Kohli (505), Ajinkya Rahane (375), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (286)
Varun Chakravarthy (17), Vaibhav Arora (16), Harshit Rana (15)
Ajinkya Rahane (20), Virat Kohli (18), Sunil Narine (16)
Tim David (193.75), Jacob Bethell (171.79), Sunil Narine (167.96)
Varun Chakravarthy (7.00), Lungi Ngidi (7.50), Sunil Narine (7.53)
