New Zealand
South Africa
As the ongoing Tri-series in Zimbabwe nears its culmination, New Zealand and South Africa face off in the finals this Saturday.
South Africa had an excellent record against New Zealand before the start of this tournament, but has lost both its matches against them in the group stage. They are missing some of their senior players, and the newcomers haven’t lived up to expectations.
New Zealand, too, is having its fair share of absentees, but the bench has thrown out enough replacements, and they have hardly broken a sweat during the journey to the finals. They will now hope to play with the same intensity in this match as well.

There are no reports of injuries from either side
We are expecting a balanced pitch for this match. The batsmen have had to work hard to earn their runs here, especially early on in the innings. Once they settle down, playing shots gets easier. The pitch has something in it for both the spinners and the seamers.
The weather will remain clear with temperatures of around 20 degrees.
Tim Seifert is the leading run-scorer of the tournament and is the top pick. We are also selecting Devon Conway and Rubin Hermann as they have been pretty consistent.
Rachin Ravindra and Dewald Brevis are our choices in this category. They have done a good job with the bat, and Ravindra has also contributed with the ball.
Both teams have quite a few all-rounders playing for them. We are including Mitchell Santner, George Linde, Senuran Muthusamy, and Michael Bracewell in our team.
Since all our all-rounders are also slower bowlers, we have opted for Matt Henry and Jacob Duffy in this category.
We are selecting Tim Seifert as the captain of our team. He has scored a half-century in each of his last two innings and appears to be in good form.
We are going with George Linde as the vice-captain. He has been a decent all-rounder for South Africa and has picked up 3 wickets while also scoring 56 runs.
It is difficult to select a perfect team for this match as the pitch here has been unpredictable throughout the series. We have therefore selected a balanced side providing equal weightage to batsmen and bowlers. Our bowling unit is also well-balanced as we have selected a mix of spinners and seamers in the team.
Matt Henry has 481 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 96 points per game.
Tim Seifert (166), Rubin Hermann (119), Dewald Brevis (102)
Matt Henry (8), Ish Sodhi (6), Jacob Duffy (5)
Dewald Brevis (9), Rubin Hermann (5), Tim Robinson (4)
Dewald Brevis (185.45), Rachin Ravindra (152.38), George Linde (147.36)
Zakary Foulkes (3.80), Nandre Burger (5.25), Senuran Muthusamy (5.37)
