After a humiliating loss against England in both, the ODI and T20 series, the West Indies return to Ireland for a 3-match T20 series. They barely managed to draw the ODI series last year and will hope to put up a better performance this time around.
Ireland on the other hand will be fancying its chances as they have a 50% win record against the West Indies in T20s. They have a well-experienced squad at their disposal and will hope to give a good fight.

There are no injuries to report from either side.
The pitch at Belfast is likely to be good for the bowlers. The green surface offers plenty of pace and bounce and the ball moves off the seam as well. The overcast conditions will also allow the ball to swing. The batsmen need to select their shots carefully and wait for loose deliveries to play their shots.
It has been raining here and we can expect more rain here on Thursday, bringing in moisture under the surface. We might also see some interruptions due to rain.
Shai Hope is the obvious choice in this category. He has been one of West Indies’ best batsmen in this tour and we expect him to continue playing well.
Rovman Powell played well in the West Indies’ latest match against England and is the top choice. We are also picking up Paul Stirling and Keacy Carty
Both teams have some good all-rounders playing for them and we are selecting Harry Tector, Mark Adair, Romario Shepherd, and George Dockrell
As the pitch is likely to help the seamers, we are selecting two quality seamers from the West Indies, Alzarri Joseph and Jason Holder.
Shai Hope is the obvious choice here. He is West Indies’ most experienced batsman on this tour and has a good record in his recent outings.
We are selecting Harry Tector as the vice-captain of our team. He is a quality all-rounder who can earn points with the bat as well as the ball.
As the pitch isn’t the best to bat on, we have tried to select a team that has an equal balance of batsmen and the bowlers. The likes of Shai Hope and Paul Stirling can adapt to the conditions and could play an important role. Also, since the seamers are likely to get plenty of help, our bowling attack is a bit seam-heavy.
Ross Adair has 525 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 105 points per game.
Ross Adair (344), Rovman Powell (194), Stephen Doheny (178)
Akeal Hosein (8), Gavin Hoey (7), Barry McCarthy (6)
