The best two teams of the tournament will have their shot at silverware. The journeys have been different after a direct qualification from Qualifier one booked the IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans a ticket straight into the final. Dindigul Dragons required two wins to get this far.
The IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans’ phenomenal achievement of beating the unbeatable Chepauk Super Gillies may give them the belief that anything is possible.
Dindigul Dragons, with a win in their previous game, may also believe in doing something special.

Dindigul Dragons is the only team which will be stressing about their unavailability of Sandeep Warrier.
The teams would be getting accustomed to what to expect in Dindigul. With not much rain around, the track may feel slower as the game progresses and potentially bring the spinners into the contest. The Tamizhans have made scores of 182 for five and 202 for five batting first at Dindigul this season.
Tushar Raheja is currently only behind Baba Aparajith by one run where the leading run-scorers are concerned. The hostile hitter has 411 runs with four half-centuries and ten catches behind the stumps this season. Baba Indrajith is a good reader of tempo in a T20 innings. The experienced batter played out a calm innings of 32 runs off 35 balls in last year’s TNPL final.
22-year-old Vimal Khumar has a romance going on with the Dindigul pitch. The young batter has two half-centuries in three innings at the ground this year. Shivam Singh has been one of Dindigul’s more destructive batters in the background. The opening batter has 331 runs after his past ten innings.
Ravichandran Ashwin needs no introduction to the league. The Indian all-rounder has produced 348 runs and 13 wickets in his past ten TNPL outings. Sai Kishore matches Ashwin with 13 wickets in his past ten bowling innings. The left-arm orthodox spinner has also done that at an economy rate of 6.54.
Esakkimuthu A will be raring to go again in Dindigul. The medium-pace bowler took a three-wicket haul against Chepauk Super Gillies in his previous bowling spell. Thangarasu Natarajan is one of the Tiruppur powerplay and death overs weapons. The left-arm pacer took five wickets in his last two matches of the league stage. 26-year-old Ravichandran Sasidharan has come to life in this tournament.
After only three matches, the left-arm spinner has five wickets. Ganeshan Periyaswamy has lit up the stage in Dindigul. The pacer has four wickets at his home venue this year.
Ravichandran Ashwin should be a top pick to earn you the most points. He could sense déjà vu after his heroics in the 2024 TNPL final with 52 runs to take the side home. His runs in the 2025 season have also been game changing.
Tushar Raheja has been one of the cornerstones of the 2025 IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans lineup. The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter has starred with 474 runs in his past ten TNPL matches, while also going at a rapid strike rate of 185.15.
Experience usually plays a key role in play-off matches, especially after previously successful campaigns or performances to draw from. The more experienced players should strengthen your lineup.
The captains will need to bring the best out of themselves and could be worth picking as they attempt to be influential figures in this match.
Spin-bowling on a slower track should not be an underrated weapon. The spinners in the second innings could be unbearable to deal with.
Unsurprisingly, Ravichandran Ashwin has 609 Dream11 fantasy points to put himself top. His opposition captain in Sai Kishore has 584 points. Tushar Raheja joins his skipper with 523 points.
Tushar Raheja is well in front with 411 runs. Shivam Singh is behind him with 327 runs.
A number of players have put their names in the hat, but Ravichandran Ashwin with 13 wickets leads everyone. Sai Kishore and Esakkimuthu A have 12 wickets each.
Tushar Raheja has set himself apart with 28 sixes in eight matches. Raheja has ten more sixes in one less innings than Shivam Singh who has 18 sixes.
Tushar Raheja has moved along swiftly with a strike rate of 189.40. Uthirasamy Sasidev has also been sensational with 182.69.
Sai Kishore has set a high standard with an economy rate at 5.50. Thangarasu Natarajan has been noteworthy too with 6.36.
