As we reach the end of the Group stage in the ongoing Indian Premier League, the fortunes of Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants have already been decided.
The Titans are currently placed at the top of the points table and have already qualified for the next stage. A win here will all but guarantee them a place in the top two places, and they will have two chances to make it to the finals.
On the other side are the Lucknow Super Giants. With their latest loss against the Sunrisers on Monday, they have been eliminated from the race to the playoffs. They now have nothing but pride to play for.

There are no reports of injuries from either side.
We are expecting a good batting surface at the Narendra Modi Stadium for this match. The flat and hard pitch offers good pace and bounce, and the bowlers have very little margin of error. The pitch has an even covering of grass that helps the seamers. However, they will need to bowl at the right length to get movement off the seam.
The spinners are likely to struggle a bit during the first inning, but could get some purchase during the second inning.
There is no chance of rain, and the conditions are likely to be warm and dry.
We are selecting two players here, Jos Buttler and Nicholas Pooran. Both are known for their explosive brand of batting and have been in excellent form throughout the season.
Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan are automatic choices here as they are the top two run-getters of the tournament. We are also picking up Mitchell Marsh as he has been pretty consistent for LSG.
Aiden Markram is the top choice here, thanks to his excellent form with the bat. However, other than him, none of the all-rounders have delivered.
We are going with Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj as the two seamers, while Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan are the two full-time spinners.
We are nominating Sai Sudharsan as the captain of our team. He is the leading run-scorer of this season and has played some brilliant knocks at the top of the order. He is coming into this match on the back of an excellent century and is likely to continue playing well.
Shubman Gill will be the deputy in this match. He has been a perfect partner for Sai Sudharsan and has scored 4 half-centuries in his last 5 outings.
With the pitch likely to be good for batting, we have opted for quite a few batsmen in our team. While we would have wanted to add a couple more all-rounders, barring Markram, no one has made an impact. We have, therefore, included Rashid Khan, who can also play some big shots during the death overs.
Shubman Gill has 740 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 148 points per game
Sai Sudharsan (617), Shubman Gill (601), Jos Buttler (500)
Prasidh Krishna (21), Sai Kishore (15), Mohammed Siraj (15)
Nicholas Pooran (35), Mitchell Marsh (24), Shubman Gill (23)
Nicholas Pooran (197.82), Rahul Tewatia (191.42), Shahrukh Khan (183.67)
Prasidh Krishna (7.85), Digvesh Rathi (8.18), Arshad Khan (8.68)
