England Women were red-hot favorites to win the T20I series. However, the Indian women had other ideas, as they took an impregnable 3-1 lead in the series by the time the fourth game was over. England Women are once again being touted as favorites to win the ODI series. But it might not work out that way, as amply demonstrated in the T20I series.
England Women will be ready for the ODI series, though. These two teams nearly share the honors in the ODI format if you compare their head-to-head. The English women are playing at home, and it is always an advantage. All in all, things are looking good for a keenly fought affair.

Both captains of the England and India Women's teams were carrying injuries that they sustained during the T20I series. They are now fit and are likely to be available for the ODI series. There are no other injury worries at this moment.
The wicket on offer at The Rose Bowl will be a balanced one. This is a medium-scoring ground and will assist the pacers early on. Even the spinners might get assistance from the track. There is a clear possibility of getting showers during this contest. So, the D/L equation might also affect the course of the contest.
There are two excellent alternatives available for this contest. Both Richa Ghosh and Amy Jones are in form with the bat. Amy Jones did not do too much in the T20I games, but Ghosh batted well. We will go with Richa Ghosh as our choice of the wicket keeper.
The top batting alternatives for this contest are Smriti Mandhana, Tammy Beaumont, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur, Harleen Deol, and Sophia Dunkley.
Nat Sciver Brunt and Deepti Sharma are the top all-rounders for this contest. Some other good ones will participate in this contest, such as Pratika Rawal, Sneh Rana, Alice Capsey, and Amanjot Kaur.
The best bowlers on the show in this contest are Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Bell, Charlie Dean, Radha Yadav, Arundhati Reddy, and Shree Charani.
Our choice for captainship in this contest will be Smriti Mandhana. This is in recognition of a super contribution with the bat and leadership in the absence of the regular skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur.
The England Women skipper, Nat Sciver Brunt, will be our option for the position of Vice Captain. She has done well for England Women both with the bat and ball.
After a comprehensive 3-2 win in the T20I series, India Women will now take on England Women in a three-game ODI series. England Women will be shaken a bit by the unexpected reversal in the T20I games. But they are playing at home, and it is likely to work in their favor. So, we think England Women will start as favorites to win this encounter. There is nothing much in it, though.
Smriti Mandhana leads the fantasy points tally with 431 points, followed by Shree Charani with 404 points and Deepti Sharma with 302 points.
Smriti Mandhana has scored the maximum of 213 runs, followed by Jemimah Rodrigues with 107 runs and Sophia Dunkley with 105 runs.
Shree Charani has picked up a maximum of ten wickets in the series. Lauren Bell follows with six wickets and Radha Yadav with five.
Three players have hit three sixes each in this series, viz. Sophie Ecclestone, Smriti Mandhana, and Danni Wyatt-Hodge. Shefali Verma and Sophia Dunkley have hit two each.
Deepti Sharma has the best strike rate of 233.33 at the moment, followed by Amanjot Kaur with 153.06 and Sophie Ecclestone with 147.62.
Arundhati Reddy has the best bowling economy rate of 6.83, followed by Radha Yadav with 6.92 and Shree Charani with 7.14.
